One Day Ride to Sula Vineyards, Nashik

Date: Sunday, 15th June 2014

Meeting Point:

07:00 AM:- Lodha Complex, After Majiwada Flyover, Thane

Departure Time:- 07:30 AM.

Total Distance (Round trip): 300 kms (From Meeting point in Thane)

Ride Plan:

Mumbai xBhpians would be riding all the way to Sula Vineyards, Nashik via NH3 which opens at 11 am so we will have loads of time to reach there. We would be having breakfast somewhere on the way before reaching Sula. Sula Vineyard offers a tour of their vineyard and also offer a session of tasting the vines which are manufactured at their vineyard. They charge Rs.150/- per head for the same. You can also buy different types of vine from their vineyard at low price. Do get your cameras/ Go Pro etc. Pillions are welcome.

Lunch on the way back in some nice dhaba/ food court and ride back home.

Hello Guys, Just out of curiosity is there anything else other than the vineyard(some sight seeing stuff i.e)enroute?

You get Awesome Road to make Top End of your bike (be safe in rain),
Kasara ghat for continuous left and right Turns every now and then, the ghat / mountain view there, Straight highway after that, and then Sula. Sula is itself an excitement.


Other people if someone is new, I'd just like to add please take your raincoat and Bag Rain cover along with you.
Or at least something to save your Mobile.

As it raining why not carry some breakfast & Enjoy at Vihigoan Falls and then continue towards Sula... just a though as Kasara is just 1 hour ride or so..

Btw any1 from Mumbai clan has a Tent (2-4 people) which can be borrowed for few days next month??

you can get tent on rent from a shop in thane , near station . shops name is straub. they charge something like 200rs for per day.
