did a solo igatpuri ride early morning - my 1st on n650

it was pouring cats & dogs - was astonished by the stability of the n650... i was clocking a steady 75~78kmph in gusty winds & very heavy rains... visibility was nil beyond 200~300ft.

the rains subsided a bit on my way back which was when i thot i cud stop to click some fotos - tough luck...



by the time i did su-su & clicked about 3~4 snaps, it started pouring yet again... had to scram & continue the ride back home...



all in all, a sunday morning well spent i say

oh n btw, was overtaken by a apache rtr & a bumblebee ns200 - both riders fully geared in RJay's jackets...

both were riding like maniacs... am not kidding... i've seen folks who ride fast & folks who are on a suicide mission... these two gents were from the latter category...

hope these gents were not anyone i know, on xbhp...

if they are, i wud ride at a very very safe distance from them during a group ride

need to tend to some home chores like visiting jambhli naka & shree duttatreya mandir @ station for flowers, etc. am prolly the only guy here who goes weekly grocery shopping @ these places on a n650

This was supposed to be a great weekend that's steadily turning into a nightmare for riding.
First I could not attend the Anniversary G2G as the electrical work on the bike couldn't be completed on Friday thanks to left-side switchgear goin kaput.

Then [MENTION=61028]whymail[/MENTION] told me about the consolation G2G and I thought well, something better than nothing!

Now my bike won't even start as the battery terminal was loose n the damn thing broke yday when I was removing it. The dealer said he cant replace it right away so I'm sitting here thumbing keys with no spare battery or bike! 😖

Now, I know this sounds demanding, but if anyone going to the Hiranandani meet passes through the Bhandup vicinity (LBS/ Mulund-Goregaon rd/ Airoli jn) can I come along pillion? 😁

addendum: i am heading to R-Mall Mulund w/ Home Minister & junior.
will call up either of u guys once i get back home & if i can make it...
