On the other hand my fellow rides I have a extra Tank-Pad sourced from Italy - Monster Energy Style if any1 interested can contact me.. Price is 1.3 K (no negotiation)

Using the exact same thing on my bike... Would prefer if some1 can come to Thane and pick it up personally rater than shipping.

Thanks Shashank! I'm inclined towards Philips now, despite some people on Tbhp still insisting neither of these bulbs offer great light. Have heard the Philips ones from Germany are good, can anyone confirm from where I can get a genuine one? (Sushil from SMG in Thane who's workin on my bike said he has one, but I need to be sure it's the real deal. Have to get it done this week before the Anniversary G2G)@Sachinnair @saurabhjd @rkakkar Are y'all using stock HL bulbs? Please let me know as I want to go for the best 55/60 W bulb as I'm not goin for HIDsSent from my iPhone

Is yours the Pulsar Sushil and Veeral have been calling me about? If yes, what exactly are you doing?

I am using stock on my CBR but had upgraded to 55/60W on my FZ earlier. I used standard 55/60 W Philips bulb because of two reasons:

1. Nightbreakers etc. ensure you use a relay or it'll drain your battery faster than a Hayabusa draining it's fuel tank :P
2. White light is completely useless in rain. Stick to yellow.

Gentlemen we have a genius in the house.
1. For the Same load, why is it that one needs a relay and the other won't? Since when did relays start charging batteries?
2. White light is more useless than the mudguard on the Discover 150 brake disk. Never ever go for white light. I was riding DK's CBR which has the Philips bulb that throws whitish light in the rain and I was blind.


As for @whymail whining over low light output, HID is the way to go. Put a HID in one of the headlights and use it only when necessary. That way you can have light when you need it the most and avoid unnecessary battery drain when it isn't needed.

Jerman there is wrong. Even if it is the white HID it is useless on a wet road/in the rain/in the fog.
