Next time, let's do an in-city Sunday morning/ afternoon G2G. What say?

It was nice meeting you all! Suprised and amazed to see few people actually came all the way from Malad for a short gup shup session. Hope it was fruitful.
Next time may be around 5pm would be more apt. How about this Sunday, same place but 5PM? If many are interested then can create a short plan.

@DeVille : LOL! regret not being able drop-in. it got too frigging late by the time i cud find a place to park my car @ the mall... looks like all the demented husbands like me head out w/ their home-ministers @ all such malls on weekends / sundays... a direct fallout was, everything got delayed - parking > shopping > drive back home > dinner ... sab late ho gaya!

i was so dead beat that i was already in bed snoring @ 1025pm when our friend @viks called - he was standing below my residence awaiting for me to turn on my 'audio system'

up i was, in a flash... went down to the parking bay... shaked hands w/ @viks & unveiled the kawanja... it was high past 1045pm by then.

'can u crank her up please?' - was his request...

now, that Akra is a system that converts Carbon Monoxide to sweet audible HiFi Musical Symphony!

'OMFG - @ this hour AND inside the stilt parking - u cant be serious?' - was my response.

we started her up anyway & i blipped her for about 4k rpm coupla times.

as expected, a neighbor walked down & almost told me to cut the crap lest i wake up the entire complex!

so i turned her off... did some foto-shoot & i returned home as a dutiful husband while @viks sped off to his home.

i guess meeting during 1300 hrs thru 1600 hrs is more suitable for 'married-slaves' like me

And as I said yesterday, lets plan for some 'Do it yourself' sessions for bikes like Pulsar, Karizma, R15, Apache etc. so that we don't have to run to local mechanics/ SVCs for small issues etc.

Few points, but they are not limited to:

For e.g.

1. What to do if your bike stops in the middle of a highway.. The possible reasons of a breakdown and how to rectify them.

2. Cleaning of Carb, cleaning and lubing chains, information about fuse etc.

3. Tools to keep apart from the standard ones those come along with the bike.

And the list may go on... I would request other members to share what they think about it and provide their inputs... I understand that most of the information is available on the internet/ forum but still.......

^^ let us first see the turn out for in-city G2G's. After that we can organise something like this (just a view).

The Pune clans have weekly G2G's. I guess we should follow the same and hopefully the number of bikers increases over a period of time.
