probably these incidents are a learning for us so that next time we can be more prepared in case we come across such incidents.

      • Rachit glad u r safe man.
Even me too had same experience (Proves its just normal)
I went over a darn brick while doing 70-80 landed back safely by gods grace.Nothing bend (May be it has something to do with weight)just was sht scared
Nd recently i was on the extreme right doing 80-90, I dont know how or why gods grace again, i just swiched to the middle lane. Just i switched i saw this huge block of wood(which are kept to block trucks from rolling) right on the path i was riding,Just seeing that was enough for me to shiver like a wet cat(or may be that was the cold breeze hmm.)

Spidey projectors are expensive and its a very tedious job man,U can figure out if u go through that thread.

OK then who is riding where ??

        • Oh this happens a few times. Good that all affected never had to taste tarmac.
Winsey bhai I really admire you and your bike men. Probably the most well built P150 in Mumbai. (despite the long trips she has done and not to mention that hallowed exhaust pipe.)

BTW, am planning a trip to Goa. Possibly will come to fruition summer or maybe in Feb itself. After that, God(& Parents)-willing, will do a couple of trips to Bangy to get set for my saddlesore. I wanna get it done this year itself. So will need your tips as well.

          All: Ride Safe!

1)Thank thy God for being alive.
2)Thou shalt respect one's own life and the live's of other road users.
3)Thou shalt respect one's own bike.
4)Love thy bike as thy self.
          5)Always wear safety gear.
          6)Alcohol is a strict NO!
7)Thou may lust after thy neighbour's bike specially if its of the R1 kind!
8)Thou shalt ride with 'ultra-most' care and caution when on Indian roads.
9)Thou shalt never leave the engine running at long traffic halts.
10)Thou shalt follow all of the above.

A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

                      • As the weekend comes closer, everyone makes their own plans..i still remember when these plans were posted openly on the forum and all were welcome...over these last one year we have actually formed a set of groups and choose to either chill out with them or ride with them....the unity in the Mumbai xbhp thread which used to be high seems almost gone...what happened?
i am responsible for some of this as and i am ready to accept...there are a whole bunch of guys who have off late joined Mumbai Xbhp and have become active members....for a while it was fine and then the group became so huge that it went out a control for one/two person to handle and make calls and arrange for g2g's etc...

Why cant we all collectivly check if we are available on this coming saturday at 8:00 pm to ride to a Dhaba on Nasik Highway and have a meet.

                        I am up for it

Can we have a g2g. its been some time...

Though I am a relatively new xbhp member compared to you and other old members, I agree with what you said..

I would have loved to join for the g2g but this weekend isn't possible for me because my granny passed away some days back and there are some rituals to be done on coming sunday(12th day). so won't be able to join.

                            Surely will join next time

Dont trust the locals as most of the auto/cab wala's have a cut in any deal that you crack
