A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

Nah, am glad it didnt go flat. Infact this happened in morning & I noticed in night around 8pm. Didnt had any option than riding it that way as I realized late. Next day again came to thane & got it fixed.

Yes its with tube & not oversized. Size is same as stock one, but I have Dunlop tyre fitted.

Seriously man, this heavy vehicles, some are really jerks. They think, they rule the road. The moment I hit that stone, I was surely expecting a fall. But after missing the fall, I was happy & scared.. Mix feelings..!

                • 2 days back: Was coming out of BARC at around 1:30 AM in the night, the road was damn clear (damn DARK though) so i started looking for potholes (common on that road) & stones, etc. Everything was CLEAR, I accelarated & as I looked-up.. here it was, a Bl**dy huge trailor, it suddenly came out from under the flyover,
exactly perpendicular with my Bike. HARD BRAKES, BIKE WOBBLED, BALLS in mah mouth, shit scared,

                  "Abb toh gaya Boss..."
                  But...

JAAKO RAAKHE SAIYAAN MAAR SAKE NA KOI... Phew!

Bike came to normal & for next 15 minutes I dint dare go beyond 40 kmph. which i had never done before in mah entire life...

@Rachit: Glad you n your baby came out safe n sound

@ALL Mumbai xbhp'ians... Anyone who knows any MECH in Mumbai who can do this for me, flawlessly...???

                    • Good to hear both of you guys are safe... Almost hit a rock lying on the right side of the road on WE highway myself a couple of days back. Rocks placed around some car which met with an accident - guys who removed the car neglected to remove the rocks it seems. Us guys on two wheels need to be watchful of anything with more than 2 or zero wheels on the road nowdays I guess!

                          • After 2k KMs covered, am now feeling confident enough to take my bike on a short trip outside the city, but would prefer not to do it alone. Anybody has some plans for a Saturday ride that I could join in on?
