I have done Mumbai-Goa in 9 hours on the P-180 DTSi(2004) which i used to own previously, it was a powerfull beast as i had fitted it with PiperCross air filter, bigger jets and Iridium IX spark plugs. It used to fly I used to go to Goa earlier every year on bike tours with my friends but now a days its not possible as all my friends are busy with their respective job/business. I have done 6 trips to Goa till date and thats my fastest time till date I love bike touring and had been to Ganpatipule recently with another friend on our respective RX135's, which i got restored recently. Attaching 2 pics of the trip, hope you like it. Will be looking forward to see you on the 31st Amby Valley GTG

Its not about whos old member here, i see a lot of old members being silent more or less and these days the loudest guy (Spidy) sorry bro no offence there, also pens a message saying that the foroum is dull...and i dont think anyone disagrees.

Secondly I am in Nagpur (came here for a wedding) n will come back only on 27th. n hence I hardly LOG-IN these days, as you saw me quoting this as a DULL-THREAD now-a-days, n you agree as well.

Seriously, those ol'days were much better. We frequently use to have Dhaba G2Gs and small rides.. then some ppl graduated to do interstate rides and suddenly for them the small rides were too small for their egos and some gave up on touring and started stunting.. and so on and then ppl like me who use to do chota-mota rides were left with no option but to be the so called SILENT READERS.


Personally I WAS TOO BROKE TO DO LONG RIDES (happy realization to the person who brought up this topic) most of the times and SOME PPL WERE BEING TOO BOTHERED BOUT THAT!! (still screw their attitude).

P.S.: Anyways.. let bygones be bygones, would like to start attending G2Gs with those ppl if they get ridd of their RICHA$$ ATTITUDE!!

P.S.2: Even though it's quite late but still.. let's have a NEW YEAR G2G: Ride to Amby.

You A$$, you were the one who always told me, "yaar Amby ja ja ke borr ho gaya hu..." whenever i used to ask you to ride to Amby, so now dont crib about it
& you dont tour dosent mean we have some richa$$ attitude. n I never said NO to small rides, you had said that many times though.

Whatever have been posted here by Anup,DK,Spidy,Motor is true in one way or another and really I myself feel very bad for not able to make it G2G's as often as I used to when I was in Delhi (Infact I used to be in every G2G). Last week only I had given a word to Pune guys but couldn't make it for the Sunday meet. I've stopped give commitments because my holidays never match or something or other happens from office end at the last moment.

@DK-I agree that Mumbai is big and the set of rules for other cities doesn't apply on Mumbai but once in a month meet of all the members together with a short ride (Motor mentioned that) is very important for xBhp brotherhood because that is our core strenght and for that someone needs to take initiative and post a separate thread and do the planning part. I can do that but there is always a possibility of me not able to join at the last moment. I see you to be the best person for that.

Offlate Pune has grown and its quite heartning to see everyone coming together and properly planned meets are happening. I want to see that thing happening again in Mumbai.
