One small suggestion,please dont hit me for this
Since tomorrow a lot of people will take part in the rally,parking would be a problem,my suggestion catch the train towards churchgate since we will be travelling in opp direction there wont be much rush.
or
park the bikes somewhere near shivaji park(ketan sir can guide us)and catch the train from dadar.

Just a suggestion folks.We can avoid searching for parking space and carrying our gears(helmet,jacket,gloves etc etc)

That's a good suggestion veloci. I was thinking of the same thing - traffic and was gonna ask Rachit to either meet early and be there in advance or use the public transport. As of parking in Dadar, No problemo... Lot of space for parking near Shivaji Park Am fine with both, bus as well as train for commuting. Let the janta decide. My call..am fine with Bike/BEST/Train.. No probs from my end.

Sometime back GS Ferrari was talking about NH17 and the roads that lead to them are boring or something similar.
Most of the destination in and around Mumbai have been covered.
Try Bordi!!!!
Just came back from a ride to Bordi, stayed at a very good resort known as Hill-Zill resort. Welcome to Hill Zill


Take the route via Talasiri its roughly about 150 - 170 kms from Thane. The state roads are awesome with almost no traffic. Amazing corners and neat roads, no potholes, 2 laner, beautiful tarmac, drivers/riders delite.

The beach is a sad place, wont recommend going there.

All said and done, we have always rode to some destination returned back or stayed over - night for a drink and rode back home. Why not try something different.

A lot of resorts on the Agra highway, while riding i was thinking wont it be a cool idea to have a Mumbai - Pune G2G at a resort. These resorts charge somewhere from 250 - 400 rs per person, incl breakfast/Lunch/snacks, tea.
Almost all have swimming pool and other sport facilities.
Would someone like to think over this and decide on a G2G.

congo for the trip Anup.. and hey.. that resort still exists? I have stayed in that resort way way back when I was a kid.. It was then when I wasn't even aware of digital photography thing.. We used to have film cameras. Have some pics of the resort.. the garden restro.. the swimming pool.. TT n all.. A nice place to spend a night at. Yeah.. the beach was poor at that time as well. I remember we clicked a few pics of wind mills on our way back.
