Re: The Official Mumbai Offline Meet(G2G) Thread
Agreed Sir..!! I have a working Saturday this weekend, however, I have already compensated for it by working last Saturday, all alone in the office... Got my bike serviced, few parts replaced, paid 5k to Sai Service, Borivalli.. just to attend the Anniversary Ride...Originally posted by whymail View Post

@I_Live2Ride : Lucky you! I compliment u for the flexibility your employer offers you – that’s a luxury seldom found @ the place where I work.
Unlike many distinguished folks here who come from eloquent organizations, I am but a mere ‘factory worker’ @ a startup where all Saturday’s are working – no 5-day week work culture for us

I understand Boss... the sumary line is efficiently utilizing the offered flexibility in a proper direction and currently the direction is pointing towards Nagaon...Originally posted by whymail View Post@I_Live2Ride : Lucky you! I_Live2Ride : eh eh eh! besides the saturday work flexibility, u r still in control of ur freedom too [being single] & u shud be delighted abt it! darkknight is in his 'chandramukhi' phase of his marriage [<1 yr] whereas i am in 'jwalaamukhi' phase of mine [>14 yrs]
so the term 'wife willing' has an entirely stratospheric meaning in my context

Thanks Shashank! I'm inclined towards Philips now, despite some people on Tbhp still insisting neither of these bulbs offer great light.Originally posted by whymail View PostBoth are at par on tech front. IMHO the philips has a lil bit whitish tinge to it & hence preferred by me over the osram.
Have heard the Philips ones from Germany are good, can anyone confirm from where I can get a genuine one? (Sushil from SMG in Thane who's workin on my bike said he has one, but I need to be sure it's the real deal. Have to get it done this week before the Anniversary G2G)

DeVille : both these bulbs are better than what the stock fit comes on pulsar's. dunno abt mulund but u can get either of these @ any of the Car accessories dealers near Teen-Petrol Pump Thane. as for me, i've not upgraded my stock bulb on avenger since its one of the brightest in its class. in case u were keen on buying the originals, i wud suggest u visit the opera house automobile market - u shall have various options & prices available there. hope this helps!◦ ● 4-wheels move the body... 2-wheels move the soul ● ◦

Oh yes I am enjoying my freedom to the core... BUT, looks like you are threatening/ warning me about any unforseen dangerous situation that I may come across in the coming year..

Re: The Official Mumbai Offline Meet(G2G) Thread
On my current bike, 200 NS, I am using stock bulb only. But had used hid as well as Phillips on my p220. Hid gives the best output (4300k), there is no comparison between hid and halogens. But since you are not option for hid then Phillips will be your best bet. It is said to have longer life than osram. But let me tell you very frankly, Stock bulb by halonix on my 220 gave similar output as Phillips. But I don't know abt the model number if halonix.Originally posted by DeVille View PostThanks Shashank! I am using stock on my CBR but had upgraded to 55/60W on my FZ earlier. I used standard 55/60 W Philips bulb because of two reasons:Originally posted by DeVille View PostThanks Shashank! 1. Nightbreakers etc. ensure you use a relay or it'll drain your battery faster than a Hayabusa draining it's fuel tank :P
2. White light is completely useless in rain. Stick to yellow.Last edited by rkakkar; 07-23-2013, 07:20 PM.Always assume the other guy will mess up - Ride Defensively!
