Bro, Can i know from where did you get those hazard flashers. I stay in borivli.

I want to install the same on my gladiator. Is it possible to fit those seperately instead of installing them in turn indicators. I mean just 2 indicators foer hazard lightsd below the indicators.
    Hi Amit,

I have seen a blinking LED installed near the rear foot peg on an RE in Thane. It was a RED LED blinking at an interval of 1-1.5 second. I asked him from where did he bought that thing and he told me he got it from Sunshine Auto, Thane at some Rs.350-400. Not sure about any shop at Borivalli, but I have seen something like this at A.H Helmets, Oshiwara. Call and ask them before going to their shop.

PS: It is not a flasher as seen in Parimal's video.

I_Live2Ride: Thanks for the info. Even i had seen the same on bullet in Andheri. It was not a flasher but a sort of strobe light (Similar to Aeroplane Wing Strobe Lights) Trust you are also mentioning the same. The same is fixed at A2Z motorcycle store bhandup but they dont have the same in stock now. The cost with installation is somewhere around 700.

I will check somewhere in borivli in a day or 2 and also with AH Helmets.

Actually i was wondering if additional indicators can b fixed to Gladiator at rear with flash effect as shown in video. I need the same with Red LED.

Yeah, those are okay 'cos they aren't very obtrusive... but the flashers... I find them very irritating when on for no reason See them mostly on 4-wheelers - as soon as it starts drizzling

            @Centaur: @I_Live2Ride:

Actually confused between both: Please suggest which one would look better and less nuisance to following vehicles. The Flashers as seen on the KTM in the above video or the strobe like the video in the below url.

Actually i am more inclined towards the setup like that in the KTM but being Glady has flushmounted Indicators not sure how it will look. Orelse need to install additional indicators at rear with the circuit.

            Thanks in Advance

              hey @amit_ss125 ,

Max got them from Ebay for 2K, it is a customised chip that needs to be installed in the bike,, which results in 21 patterns of hazard lights in Tail Lights..

As per what max told me it was only designed for Duke,, but i can get you more details for it from Max..

              hey amit,

The video that you posted with Red light is a strobe light and honestly as per me , it could be a bit irritating in the night coz it has real high power and could distract attention for others from road to the bike and could coz disasters,,

Probable hazard light means,, the guy driving/riding behind us should know that a riding a riding ahead and it should not even distract him in the eyes,, like in your video at 0:30..

right said bro. I also found it a bit distracting. but its just a 1 watt led hence giving a second thought. orelse will go with additional indicators at rear with the flasher circuit. What u Say Bro???

Pls help me with a trusted store where i can buy additional rear indicators with red led(May b orange leds can be swapped with red) and a circuit. i dont want any fancy circuit. Just a flash of right and left alternatively will be enough to giv a better visiblity to following vehicles on almost dark roads such as gorai and aarey colony for example. Need to do some adons on glady and this is what i intend to do for now.

AH Helmets quoted 550Rs and fitting charges extra for the red strobe. Will try to source ad on indicators and do the jugad. That should not b a nuisance to following vehicles and i will be cursed less

Well, in my opinion, simply switching on the headlight during rains/ fog will also switch on your tail light which is enough for visibility. The flashers or strobe lights will irritate the one following you. Don't believe me? Try riding behind a 4-wheeler in rains who has his hazards light blinking. The water droplets on your helmet will make it difficult for you to see the road.

On a different note, hazard lights are to be only used when you have a vehicle malfunction/ or you have parked your vehicle in the dark/ or to inform others that the vehicle is stationary (may be due to a puncture). Everybody knows that they need to ride with caution during rains, we don't want a hazard light telling it to us. Hazard light simply means that my vehicle can be hazardous, therefore, you need to proceed with caution.

I laugh at the drivers of the cars who switch on the hazard light in rains and drive at 80-90 Km/hr.

Amit, if you want to put the warning light then I would suggest to use the 1W LED as shown in your video. The LED should be pointing somewhat downwards. The problem with the hazard/ flasher / circuit is that you cannot signal when you are actually turning left/ right or are switching lanes.
