Hi Sorry guys was off forums for quite some time.

I've found my old garage which used to do my Unicorn to be great at doing service for the GT too. and on top of it hes' a helpful & honest guy too. He's in Charkop Kandivali West names Raju.

Looking to have a decently maintained Cbr 250 R abs...all help is sincerely appreciated....by the way...I am planning a solo 4 day ride from 12 to 15 Aug from Kalyan..anybody wants to join ? Camping is also a priority since I have a Coleman tent..other options are also welcome...my current ride is Honda Unicorn

If you haven't got a suitable mechanic till now for your Gt, Try Riderzpit in Airoli, Sector 9. Name of the owner is Santosh. He is vivid biker & tourer himself. He has modified his RE himself. Have a sound knowledge with RE.

Hi,

Lot of new names and faces and bikes here.

I SOLD off my cast iron engine Bullet 350 with right hand side gear.
Felt like buying a stress free daily commute bike which is reliable, maintenance free and can be used rough without preformance getting affected.

So booked and bought Splendor Pro Classic cafe racer single seater from bikewale.com I did not even visit the showroom. Didn't test ride it. Booked and paid online. Bikewale.com oordinated with Authorised Dealer who used a tempo to ship the brand new motorcycle to me from his showroom.

BELOW is the longest ride I have done on it so far. Went to Trimbakeshwar on Mahashivratri riding in the night to have darshan in morning. Went via Mumbai - Thane to NH3 and after reaching Trimbakeshwar did a Shiv-ji parikrama on motorcycle by coming back through Jawhar, Vikramgad, Manor via NH 8 to Thane to Mumbai.

If you feel Enfield or Harley Davidson is not the only motorcycle for touring and if you believe these small capacity bikes are safer because they are limited in speed which is essential against potholes, weird speed-breakers, obstacles, stones, rubble, street dogs, cattle, villagers crossing, etc - then lets meet up and ride on a weekend in Mumbai.
