Is any of you riding from Mumbai to Delhi somewhere in the first half of February? I'm planning a tour to Nainital aboard my humble Gixxer SF and would like to have a biker bud along for the 2-day ride from Mumbai to Delhi. Dates are flexible, please let me know!

Just one section where bikes aren't allowed, Ahmedabad expressway. The roads will have proper signs to show the other NH route.

I'm not aware of any particular budget hotel for this route.
But you could always start looking for a hotel on the highway when you intend to stop riding for the day.
You should easily be able to find a hotel within 1k per night with some bargaining

Never really rode in a group, but thought I should share this wonderful route with you all. I'll be riding on this route again during the monsoons...couldn't click enough pics and I did not carry an action cam. More than anything else, I can't wait to see the beauty of this route in fresh green and mist.

Thane - Igatpuri - Trimbak - Harihar - Vaitarna - Khodala - Jawhar - Vikramgad - Manor - Thane.
