the approximate travel date is either Friday 14th Nov or Friday 21st. Yes its a 3 day ride. Mumbai to Ahemadabad is 580 kms approx and 96 more kms from ahemadabad....
The approx cost excluding fuel will be only 1000 rs including food and stay. (if there are 5 people)

Would love to have some good company...

Wat wud b the total budget? My Zma got an average of 35-40 wen riding on highways...
I wud Love to come if the budget n timing suits My schedule. If its from 14th, then Most probably am "IN" fer this tour.

umm can i come too ?? as in, since i am a newbie .. but finding it difficult to resist riding for such great trips ... not that i am asking anybody to take my responsibility ... just that .. what would the gurus recommend ? the farthest i have ever ridden was ambyvally [:P]
damn the first time i met anup did not know he was so much into riding although he did tell us about his bhutan trip .. amazing man ..

Going to agra is a 2 day affair and coming back 2 days one day to visit places..effectively 5 days....Who has that many days?...although its a very tempting plan i would rather visit Rann of Kutch and then the next destination is Down South and later may be Agra...

I am retiring from the rides post December 2008.

Dont have 5 days for agra in nov. Can plan to go there jan or feb.

no man i am off the saddle for some good time probably the entire next year. i rode to allmost all the places as planned. Except Mt. Everest which is scheduled for 2009. If all works well, i will ride to Everest base camp (EBC) and then call it quits for riding the bike for a while. My back is troubling me and i consulted doctor who has adviced me against long rides...altough he didnt specify how long i consider 500 kms + is long...

Lets hope all is well with my back and i keep touring.

However i have found an alternative to riding and keeping myself busy...i will cycle and also learn the Guitar in 2009. So here is 2 things to do in 2009..i am posting my resolutions so soon......
