Hey Thane / Mulund guys,

Will any of you be riding together towards the Garage ?

If there is a meeting point at Thane where you all are meeting then maybe I could drop by to see your ugly faces and show you mine

Been a long time since I even got to speak to any of you over phone (no mobile network at my office, in case anyone had tried calling me).

Maybe we could have a cup of tea together before you all ride on to the garage for the real fuel

Btw.. guys... as discussed it has to be either Harihareshwar (200km) or Mahabaleshwar (300km) on 25th-26th Oct '08..... please let me know what destination are we interested in..?? Btw.. am in for Mahabaleshwar.... if nobody is coming... I'll do a solo ride ....

Mahabaleshwar would be a better bet than Harihareshwar.

I had incredible fun at Harihareshwar though (last year) but there isn't much to do there except climb that Stairway to Heaven (trip log below)
Hariharsehwar: Stairway to Heaven
AND
The temple where you can do Puja/ Yagna to rid yourself from Sadhe Sati/ Kaal Sarp/ etc.

It is a small village with a beach. But the beach is as dangerous as that of Shriwardhan - with Quicksand and High Tide.

When I had gone with friends - none of us stepped on the beach on that overnight trip.
We slept at the Smashaan Ghat instead because MTDC demanded Rs 4000 per room


Mahabaleshwar though far away - is ideal for an overnight ride if we start early enough and have stay there as - afternoon till next day morning - that would cost us one day stay at whatever rooms we find there.
