Na na..i m not saying u dont plan well..

The detailed plan looks more like a religious tour..

I understand Inder Paji that you didn't said anything like that,but I am just telling.That i always go unplanned out there.Just the name of the place..highway and places to be visited..That's it
I remember one incident when i went Saputara (GUJ)...I didn't got any accomodation in the night.And i had to sleep in a village near by........Mud House having customised first floor made up of wood slices.

When you reach the Suratkal beach, stand near the mandap next to the lighthouse,
- On the extreme left you will see the massive lighthouse
- On the left you will see a nice rockstrip where you can\could practise rock climbing
- A lil bit to the right you will see a rockstrip which appears like a giant statue sleeping on the water bed
- Straight ahead the fantastic beach
- A lil bit to the right, you will see the entry to the beach, a downslope you will see some crows gliding against the strong wind too if you are lucky!
- Extreme to the right you will see 5 small homes, One of which is my aunts.. although they dont live there anymore!

I used to go to my native place just to stay there :P
and then when I would go bored, a few KMs ahead was my other aunts home on top of a hill, and then my uncles\moms home in the valley

Good plan,but the roads between udipi and murudeshwar is a mess,with potholes here and there,u guys will have to slalom.Better be careful.

Ek dum pakki khabar hai ustaad,just came back from a family trip,mangalore-udipi-murudeshwar-mookambika.I am surprised you guys aren't visiting Mookambika,its right on the way to murudeshwar.Its a very famous temple of saraswati and lakshmi devi.
Udipi--murudeswar=100km
Udipi--mokambika=80km(route diversion from nh 17)
Btw there's a famous ganesha temple called"annegunde ganesh temple". on the way to murudeshwar.

TVS Motors has plonked in a single cylinder, 4-stroke 250cc mill which produces 30bhp at 9500rpm and 2.2kgm at 8000rpm leading to a top speed of 150 kmph. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the bike weighs just 140kgs with 16 liters of fuel capacity.

TVS Apache RTR 250 Details & Specs

TVS Motors has plonked in a single cylinder, 4-stroke 250cc mill which produces 30bhp at 9500rpm and 2.2kgm at 8000rpm leading to a top speed of 150 kmph. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and the bike weighs just 140kgs with 16 liters of fuel capacity. The front suspension uses telescopic forks whereas at the rear monoshock rectangular swingarm does the job. The front gets 290mm discs and the rear discs are 220mm (ABS will be optional). Front tires are 100/80 x 17 whereas the rear tyres are 130/70 x 17 bolted onto 6-spoke alloy wheels. Price is expected to be close to Rs.1,20,000/- and the launch will happen next month or October 2010.

Well it is one of the "not-so-proud-to-have" part of Mumbai's culture.... I mean beat this we prefer calling ourselves by a name given to us by our 'masters' who couldn't call us by our real name. Wow! How cool is that! Ofcourse the whole thing was badly managed and politicians decided to fetch a nice free ride about it! Thats a different sory! but hey this is the Mumbai Offline G2G thread not the history of mumbai or the 'rumour thread' or something

Firstly - The TVS showroom in Baner, pune told the RTR 220 is getting launched in october though he was in dilemma when i asked whether its 220 or 250

Secondly - I heard the yamaha R125 is launching in india at close to 87,000 EX showroom with brand ambassador as Rajpal yadav.


It seems 2 wheeler industry giants are making fun of aam aadmi .

Hey of course yaar.. am talking bout the ACI rendition only.. I myself love the current RTR.. especially the one in white with golden forks(I hope am correct, I guess the ABS version or something)
