Riding in the rain is definitely an enjoyable experience but not sure it will be for 1000km. Get an extra rain gear to wear over your jacket & even after that get ready for water seepage (through the neck, cuff, pants region) .
Why not rain liner from jacket? Just think about the 1000km ride where it won't rain throughout the ride, it will be a mix of rain (if it falls) & dry/hot/humid weather. So you cannot were the rain liner all the time & thus removing & attaching the liner at the start & stop of rain will be hectic & time consuming for you.

Plan your braking in the rain as braking efficiency drastically drop during the rain, so be careful if you are doing high speeds.

Check tire pressure before the ride.

Keep the chain lubricated

Clean your helmet visor regularly when riding in rains, keep a cloth for that.

Get rain gear for your shoes, drying wet shoes after the ride could be time consuming affair.

Hi [MENTION=85633]g.1[/MENTION], Did this ride around a month back. Mumbai-Pune-Kolhapur-Belgaum-Hubbali-Chitradurga-Tumkur-Bangalore.
Few diversions till Kolhapur, rest of the roads are just smooth, straight & fast.
Did the return ride of ~1000km in a single day. Avoid reaching Bangalore in the evening peak hours as the traffic is just crazy.

Do the schedule service of the bikes a week back of the ride. Carry all vehicle related documents, chain lube, puncture repair kit, spare spark plug, cables (no need to carry extra block piston [emoji3])

Keep yourself hydrated & ride safe.

I would like to know the best possible route, what all should I carry and precautions to be taken when riding as well as during rains.

Hello Everybody,
I am planning to ride from Mumbai to Bangalore with my friend. It is my first >500 Km ride. I will be riding my Fz-16 v1 and my friend his Apache rtr 180.
I would like to know the best possible route, what all should I carry and precautions to be taken when riding as well as during rains.

Can anybody tell me if Joshua from Garage52 would check my GS for an engine noise? The SVC guys don't give a damn about GS anymore.

And if he will, does he charge like a lot since he's all famous and stuff?

Hey folks!
I'm planning a ride to Vandri Lake this Sunday with 2-3 friends. I'm the eldest in the group, aged 20 (I turn 21 in a few days). The rest are college kids aged 18-19.

Although the idea was brought up by one of the other guys in the group who's accustomed to roaming around in hills and deserted places, since I bear the "elderly-brother" image in the group, I do have some responsibilities in respect of our safety I have a few questions : Is the place safe to visit and just hang out? Are there local folk who generally create problems in this area?
I'd really like a good heads up before we head there. Thanks!

But we do had a wonderful one day ride to Sula vineyards along with kwa team . We were 6 in total .
