A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

Disagree ...He was racing with me all the way from BKC till the Panvel McD.Then i decided to let these fellas go ahead.Phew !!..I was actually scared for you guys.

Suddenly zooming ahead, then again dropping behind.

                For the cheapest option.

                1) Thick Denim Jacket ( 300-400)
                2) Knee Guards ( 1500 for the Set)
                3) Good Helmet (1500 - its worth spending )
                4) Gloves ( 700 - Probikers )

                Cheers

You and Satyen have a habit of giving "timely advice". Where were you when I first sat on a bike 18 years ago? Where was this article? Now I've contributed to this 25%..... twice in the last 2 years and about 3 times in the 16 years before that. And yes, all rider errors - mainly braking on gravel and thinking "Shitz, I think I've done this before..." SLAM!

                          • What has scratching got to do with the bike

I know of people who scratch a lot irrespective if they are on or not on the bike

PS: Not being rude, just being weird!
Yes you can knee down\Scrape knees on the FZ too! I do it all the time, but the scraper is usually the tank in that context!

Edit: There are third type of people who crash and are not alive to tell.... usually they also include people who ride like an arse irespective of the speed or the quality of gears.

Gears make it tad easier for you to live in case of a spill!
