Ha ha ha ha yes I'm following that too. Its amusing to see how a safety gear mandate discussion turns around to a discussion on whether safety gears CAUSE crashes. yes safety is a critical topic but the way the discussion is headed gives me the tickles

alankar it may be a cause too.more amount of safety also gives a false sense of comfort to immature riders leading to a crash.
have seen that "now I am all geared up so I have a license to ride rashly"

The way its headed surprised me too, but its better to know, discuss and debate about a few things.
