Hey Razor... Remove my name from the list... Cos supposedly my bike's clutch is screwed up... (Inherent Clutch design failure for the RTR 180, according to the mechanic) and the replacement is gonna take a week to come.. Have been advised not to tak the bike for rides Gonna miss the Lavasa run

Rockathon in the afternoon
sleep at satyen's place, bring your sleeping bags

Pune->lavasa->moto cafe for motoGP(5:30pm)->Mumbai (night ride)

OT- does anyone have a Iphone? is it advisable to jailbreak it?

Have a jailbroken and unlocked iPhone. Jailbreaking will give you access to additional apps through Cydia - which basically means more options when it comes to apps. So yeah, if you want more choice, go ahead and jailbreak it. Backup your phone before you do so that if something goes wrong, you can always restore it via iTunes.

hey good to know you got home pretty quick! took me a helluva long time to get to my place (traffic, traffic and MORE traffic!). fingers pretty much fell of my hand yeah I had fun too!

Hey! My plan was to go to Malshej and come back but these guys somehow convinced me that riding to Pune and the back to Mumbai would be a good idea. It was fun in that we took a completely different route to Pune from Malshej - the roads were super bad in some parts and we didnt have roads for a bit Fun but hectic ride! Finally Artone and me decided to head back home and so we hit NH4 and zipped back to Mumbai while the others (Satyen, Razor + 1 and Winzee) headed for the Rockathon!!!

I also want to learn cornering...tried once with a very bad crash. tabhi se pura confidence chala gaya...I didn't lean even once in any ride I attended after that.

Yup JB gives you many more features.Which iphone do you have and on which os it is.

I bought it from vodafone. So, Its already unlocked I guess. I am not able to jailbreak it.

Tenhut, Ritwk and I are planning a quick ride to Malshej tom and Tenhut is keen on riding his Blade there. You mentioned the road from Pune to Malshej was not in good condition. How bad was it? How long did it stretch and will the Blade be able to take it?

Sagar, speak with Satyen on this and he will be able to give you a much better idea about the road conditions. I'm assuming there are multiple routes from Pune to Malshej, but the one we took was HORRIBLE! We got potholes, we got traffic, we got single lane roads with two way traffic, we got ghats with people rushing into our lane from the opposite direction and other nuances making riding a very trying experience for a large part of the route (80%); All in all not a very "lets ride the blade" kinda way. Having said that, Satyen took this particular route so we could experience the "non-highway" side of riding. I'm not sure if there are alternative routes to Malshej. If there aren't, then atleast I would not recommend you take this route. It will frustrate you (I got frustrated with my R15 - we hit 110kmp ONCE and were at the low 60s for the most part). But yeah, speak with Satyen for a more informed opinion

Where there is madness, there are xbhp'ians. Was a crazy outing at the Rockathon. Parikrama is undoubtly India's best. If Motherjane is Mindblowing, Parikrama is Mind BLASTING. Full Pune trip vasool yesterday at Rockathon. Silver, Soul Strings & Something Relevant were amazing Full on head banging. now Scared to sleep n wake up with a stiff neck.

SPECIAL MENTION: Tough on Tobacco, sucked big time. rock, really! crap.
