Some Clarifications & Warnings !
Before people start making absurd assumptions and high expectations regarding Sunday's ride, I would like to clarify and warn about few things applicable to all the riders taking part :-
Firstly, as mentioned in the description itself, its a leisurely ride meant to enjoy the scenic beauty of this place & take some good photographs. Hence people who want to test the top speed of their steed or want to rip open their throttle on the road, please make sure you stay away from this ride else be in formation and keep your speedometer in check. I know NH8 is very tempting but we will not convert our leisurely ride into a ripping race for the sake of it. We will surely ride at a DECENT speed comfortable to both high end and low end CC bikes.
Secondly, please be clear that we are not riding to flaunt our cornering or stunting skills on sunday. The only skill needed would be that of GROUP RIDING as we will ride in formation only. If some one thinks its boring or unadventurous then please keep safe distance from the ride.
Thirdly, since its Makar Sankranti festival, we will encounter lots of kite flyers blindly crossing the roads and even some sharp entangled threads across the road, so please keep an eye on them while riding the interior roads. Also we may lose our way and get lost in the interior roads, so be ready for some U-turns and unexpected delays.
Get your bikes checked properly today. Its not good to delay or cut short a ride because of someone's bike failure which could have been be avoided.
Please bring a BAG with 1 ltr water bottle (glucose syrup if possible), some biscuit packets (Parle G preferred), basic first aid kit and yea the most important thing your bike's TOOL BOX. If you are planning for some water sports at Dudhani, carry extra clothes preferably swim suits and a towel.
Any other queries or suggestions, post it before 10pm today. Sleep adequately and avoid oily food while riding. Ride Hard, Ride Safe !

A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)
