Well guys am in for Sunday Ride... I see a mix of bikes RE, Dio, RTR what is the average speed we looking at??

65-75kmph would be an ideal speed.......i know Dio can do it...and it did well last time.....

Dude the itinerary you have prepared has to be one of the most comprehensive ones I have seen(atleast here on xbhp). You got it all - maps, time-by-time activity list and even an appendix !! This can be used as official xbhp documentation .

Hey thanks for compliments .... I do it for myself not for others ... I like the planning phase of any tour very much and since I have called up the ride, I am responsible to keep it smooth and rolling without any confusion .... I hate ambiguities ... and yeah its hardly appreciated here so drop that idea of official xBhp documentation ... people here feel if its planned then its boring lol .... the time is mentioned just to get an idea of how much we will be able to tour and till what time we can be home .... otherwise I never expect that everything will be on schedule ...... always last minute changes will happen but will be minimum if we have a plan !

Good question but it does not matter when on road ... coz we are going to ride in formation starting from ghodbunder road junction till we reach our destination and back .... people will try and maintain safe speeds is what all I can say ... and from past experience I dont think there would be any problem to accommodate sub 150cc rides ... they perform well if in GOOD CONDITION

I hear we got more than 15+ members for this ride... In this case we can have 2 groups of 6 or 7...

It makes more sense as 15+ riders in single row is little difficult on Highways unless we ride with 1 leader, 1 tail-master and 2 mid-sweepers

Good suggestion but it will be decided on the spot depending on how many and who all really turn up ... its the only thing which I cannot plan beforehand :-P

Hmm that's right and you can expect wild card entries for sure !! it always happens... I am just praying we should not get stuck in fog as we starting quite early... my Xmas ride was affected by fog very badly almost lost 1+ hour coz of it

Dude u are right there, but these things be better decided on the day itself when we meet. Bcoz the google Documents list of riders is incorrect, The Facebook one is more accurate, unless you have already seen that

Rameez the ride is < 400km (round trip) and as rony mentioned "Silvassa to Dudhni (almost 45 Km) is full of bends".
P.S.: I know for sure all you want to do is scrape yor footrest, you should have been born in lavasa

one knee guards --axo are with pranit
other scoyco ones are with speeed

you can contact either & borrow

had secured rjays jacket and axo knee guards from respective holders(btw rjays is with Drifty, not motionfreak) but Drifty had to make an emergency dash to pune.
In short, i still need a pair of elbow guards for my pillion

this is after assuming crazySID who was also in need of a jacket has approached aman for the spare joe rocket

A fellow XBHPIAN is in need of any Indian bike for couple of days, as he would be participating in California Superbike school and wants to ride an india bike for few days as he rides Japanese beast.

In exchange, he would be giving his bullet.

People staying near Vashi would be much preferable

Average speed will not be more than 60 as I travel these roads quite often........

dont worry about fog ........P 220 headlights are adequate for any thing and I dont mind Leading the group.........

one way 183kms to be exact from Ghatkopar and I have measured it ***** times in 26 years ...............

Answer to 1st question is to refer earlier posts and get all the information. Regarding your second question, I would like to make it clear that not much cornering would be possible as they would be only in the interior roads which I dont expect to be in good condition.

Exactly ... even I am saying the same thing. Things will hardly be on schedule but we can have a good judgment of what to expect in case of last minute changes ... having a plan is different from having to follow it religiously ... we can always extend our stay at one place if we feel its worth spending time there keeping in mind that we will have to skip some other location in lieu of it. So its always flexible

Got dk's JR jacket from aman. If you want elbow guards i can provide since I have the jacket now. But I think pranavD has already said that he would get them for you. If you need mine then let me know.

Got the road update from aman, some construction work going on the NH8 part, not so smooth. Don't know about state highways...
