Is anybody here planning to ride to Delhi from Mumbai, say around 16th to 19th April or so?
Am planning to spread it out over 4 days : Mumbai to Vadodara, then Udaipur, followed by Jaipur and then over to Delhi.
Would like to squad up with anyone riding around approximately the same time!

We the Mumbaikars live an extraordinarily fast life from Monday to Friday. Running between offices and train stations.

We do deserve some romantic time with our bikes once a week “atleast” but many times the plan is perfect but no one arrives on the day due to some or the order reasons; wife,kids,extra office hours,marriage,birthday, etc,etc and our bike just stays in the garage and parking lot waiting for us to take her somewhere far away from the noise of the city.

Here’s where this group comes to your rescue.


The sole purpose of creating this group is to plan weekend trips or 1 or 2 days and getting the feel of love towards riding your motorcycle.

This group is not limited to any specific brand of motorcycles but to promote team spirit and brotherhood among the riders of Mumbai.

We as family can meet, celebrate birthdays or promotions, hell even the celebration of buying your new bike.

I mean why not?

Forgot those college days when our friend scored 1 mark more than us and had to give party to everyone?

Or that day when our crush said Hi for the first time?

Well I remember the day when I got my crush’s number and had to burn my pocket for the grand party my friends took me to..!!

In our fast lives we need to slow down a bit, pull the clutch and zoom far away on those highways.

Has anyone done Mumbai to Pondicherry?

Sorry if this isn't the most appropriate place for such a question, but I just reached the starting point of the Bandra-Worli sea link from the Bandra side on my motorcycle, (I'm new to Mumbai), and was asking if motorcycles are allowed, and a policeman stopped me asking for a Rs 2500 fine. I told him I'm new and that there was no such mention / signboard anywhere on the way, and I had only come to confirm and would have returned if it wasn't allowed, but he started asking how much cash I had. While people from Mumbai may know through hearsay, people who have just moved there wouldn't have any idea.

I didn't have any and he said I'd have to pay 2500. It didn't seem reasonable.

What's the point of penalizing at a point before the U turn in the line to the toll plaza?

Was he right, or was he just fooling me?
