CARBON FIBRE engine cowl???????Originally posted by Raneet View Postby the way bappa da i need a favour from you. I wanna know the price of the carbon fibre engine cowl that you have on your karizma, along with the price of the frame to which the cowl is fitted.

Its simple plastic man!!!!!

Don't expect HH to provide Carbon fibre...
Anyway, it costs Rs 700(approx) including the frame inside.Move on.........

that's it? No rear disk, no mileage, no clip ons, no performance as such, no fat tires, so much just for smoothness and brand? I thought it was carbon fibre atleast. Now when its so cheap, will get 1 soon for myself..Originally posted by on wheels View PostCARBON FIBRE engine cowl???????

but must say, considering it normal fibre, it's quite expensive.
hero honda after all. Known for reliability, butter smooth bikes and damn expensive spare parts.

definitely. Brands like yamaha, honda and hero honda are damn reliable. I mentioned it later in my previous post. My first ride was a hero honda after all. :-) its still way smoother than my present 220. Seriously, given few upgrades, i would have bought the karizma only as i don't much look for performance, but useful upgrades and quality. R15 and zmr exceeded my budget else would have taken either of them after a thorough survey. My bike has useful upgrades which i don't know why hh still didn't include in their new zma-r and hero honda has quality, which i doubt bajaj will ever have. For your purpose, i believe a perfect choice over looking the mileage partOriginally posted by on wheels View PostIts RELIABILITY man.

and regarding me, i'm happy with the package but not satisfied with the quality. Manufacturing defects and casual approach by the svc people being the only reason..

even my first choice was R15 but could not get it for some reasons..not that im not happy with my 220 but constant niggles is what drags bajaj down..i guess bajaj believes in selling quantity and not quality
..
@bappa da - im going to miss it again man..
im not in town on 17th..

yes. Me and sunny will be there at dakshineshwar or just at the beginning of bali bridge. I guess that will be better right? You people can breath the fresh air of the ganges for a while take some shots then proceed? Suggest. And when did the time change? Please update me the final details on 9874379919 as i don't always get a chance to come online. Thanks in advance.Originally posted by on wheels View PostSo, you all are gearing up?
