Ya I heard that Fireblah detested the roads to Mandarmoni/Digha........anyway,but where are u people goin???? Which road did u all find so cool??? Inform us pls,specially me.At times,I too often want to go over 130kmph solo.

And yes tomorrow two separate rides.........sounds cool n adventurous.Pls post pics, i wud also make sure to post the pics.Experiences wud be myriad.....sumthin to share !!!!

Unable to go

i apologize for not informing you all guys earlier, actually i had been busy with my noble steed, its health is not upto the mark (Valve and carb problems, Brake drums have developed a hairline crack, Throttle wire weak) and i dont trouble it for a tour if its not ok in fact just returning from my garage......so i wont be able to make it to mandarmani ryde ( all i need is a miracle ). But whosoever goes best of luck, ride safe and god bless you all.

Its not the matter of taking responsibility dude. You actually planned for the trip and as per the planning we were gearing up man, though it is a year end month.
Really sorry for the incident of not informing you and made you wait. Thats really really nasty incident. But trust me, I did not had any time to switch on my PC.

@sunny: think something big. Now you are a grown up MANNNNN....(the word you frequently use man!).

The initial plan is: A trip for two to three days. It can be on Friday-Saturday-Sunday, or Saturday - Sunday trip. Preferably, in 2nd or 3rd week of April. It can include a night riding( a single stretch only) - in the morning to noon, we can rest and ride at night on some good and safe(.....) highway. What you all say?????
I think it would be a TEST Cricket Match played under day-night format.

For now..........
Total route of NH117 and Bakkhali troden and captured by two Xbhp members.......started at 6.30am Don Bosco Parkcircus,ended at 2.30 EM Bypass.Total Kilometre covered has probably exceeded 300kms in a single day.(Joka tram terminus to Bakkhali 130kms,Don Bosco to Joka around 25 kms approximately,maybe more,maybe less.Thus,Up-down 155X2=310 kms approx.)

The River hooghly before it vanishes into Bay Of Bengal.......it is at its widest at Diamond Harbour........very strong winds and waves is the characteristic of this place


Non Conventional way of generating electricity,unique to Bakkhali,located in Fraserganj,this system of multiple windmills powers the entire seaside neighbourhood !!!! The wind is strong here that when we opened our water bottles--a curious loud ooooonnnnn sound was coming from the bottles !!!!


We are stormtroopers....we caught strong crosswinds @90kmph,survived and stand here and Oh yes we were also stuck in sand


6 kms of Seabeach between Bakkhali n Fraserganj !!!!!


Been there,rocked away,rode on.Note the middle tread.....blackish smear of tar.


This trip had been really unique for me,as it was the first time I lead a highway riding,also this is my first long trip on a Motorcycle on Indian soil.This trip also now brought the unknown,untroden,..........Bakkhali under Xbhp's map.

We maintained a cruise speed of 80kmph mostly,at times it went upto 105kmph in order to show cars where they belong,traffic and ferry time may bring it down to around 70kmph avg cruise speed.We spent two hours at the beach..........we entered Bakkhali beach at 10:05am and left the place at 12:15 sharp.Our breakfast was roadside Chai n Biscuit
I had my lunch after reaching home !!!!! Sounds very economic aint it

so at the end.........moto of the trip Ride On.
Bikers rock,Bikes rock,Xbhp rocks.

Xbhp Kolkata...............keep riding

As any vehicles are not allowed at the beach, so we have to find out another way to the beach ..... and we have found it but the the wheel of Mach50 stuck in sand. So, he is coming behind me......

Guys lets meet up once again and first lets go visit abir and.........he..........he..........he plan for a trip

I thought of kolaghat because up- down all over it is around 120km not a long ride and place is also good( honestly I don't know ) and we will be able to know who rides how and later we can plan who will lead and who will be in the last following up (I think it will be me) and after we can move for long........

We can visit Puri - Konarak(or any other places- we have to find it out) in Orissa in 3 days - Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The roads are really good. What you all say??????
