The Official Kolkata Offline Meet(G2G) Thread

We can meet in the half way - in between Kolkata and BBSR - in case we don't want to ride till BBSR. But if we can ride till Puri or BBSR, we can meet and join them over there. They can also ride to Kolkata with us.

we can meet them at the Border......WB border meets Orissa Border.

Though I have never met you I heard lot of lovely things about you.

Probably you are more of a Doctorate in LIGHTING. This is with GUITARFREAKS Apache RTR180, I guess.

Ok,

Its almost finalised that this Saturday-Sunday there will be a Ride to Digha on road G2G.
Kolkata members who are interested to ride,are requested to join in.
The ride begins on 26th June in the morning-riding till Digha-visiting the locality in the afternoon and evening and enjoying the sea-side and tour spots-staying in for the night-returning to Kolkata next day morning.

So,the schedule-
26th June Saturday- Meeting point,Don Bosco,Park Circus
Meet in time - 5.15am
Move out time - 5.30am
We will ride to Digha on this day,have our lunch,book our night stay lodging,then move out to visit the nearby Sankarpur which is yet another tourist locale.The evening would be spent by the sea-side,enjoying the sea.
27th June Sunday-Returning ride.Move out time by 5.30-6.00 a.m.
Reaching Kolkata by morning.

This ride would be another memorable one with lots of photoshoot and enjoyment.So every Xbhpian is requested to join in......few bikers to mention are Sayan,Guitarfreak,Wingrider,SVJhonda,Dipanjan,Soum en.Sam,Mandeep please try to join in.

Bikemanic is also requested but since he is having his anniversary so no use knocking on his door
Satyajit RC also knows everything.........but he wont turn up,bcoz the rear tyre of his new ZMR runs out of air after every 30kms or so.(someone dented his new alloy rims )

Apart from this confirmed riders are-Onwheels,SunnyKonkal and MACH50 myself.

Riders from Burdwan..........Doc dada aka Drvmtm and Singdhansu or Goldie....please try to join in.I have thought of an alternative initiation for this ride for your convenience.You people need not ride to Kolkata to ride with us from beginning.You people can ride to Kolaghat direct from Burdwan and from there on we would join you.Kolaghat would be the common meeting point.So Doc dada pls gear up You people should start at 5.00-5.15 to coincide with our reaching Kolaghat.Since you people roll at 105kmph cruise speeds,so its expected that you would reach us in time

So please join in and make this ride memorable too in name of safe biking,in name of lifestyle called biking and in name of Xbhp
Each of our event is an inspiration to the starving,mislead,misguided and poor biking sense prevalent all over West Bengal So join in

I WILL TRY,but no promises.
also the road from bdn to kolaghat through arambagh is v bad condish,i doubt we will be able to use that road,forget 110 kmph

Hey Bikers, Let me Introduce myself Cause this is My First Post.
I'm Srikanth from Bangalore. I'm an Acoustic Engineer N I'm heading a West Bengal Region For a Company Called PROFX.

I was a Silent Admirer of all the activities happening in XBHP But I could Not participate in any of the Activities Cause I have my Bike (ZMA) in Banglore, Had No Wheels in Kolkata. But now I've Owned a New Used Zma( new For Me though) So now on A new Addition to Kolkata Xbhp'ns

I'm Absolutely ready to Join in For the G2G But 2 things Of my concern,
1. My bikes Registration transfer is in Process i just have that receipt from RTO office, which i carry in case i get caught by a Cop.

2. My Zma's Back Mag wheel Gets heated up Even after a Short Raids
after a long rides they are really hot literally "Untouchables" i Got it checked by a Mech he checked and told me its common in all ZMa's but i never felt it in my 1s Zma in Banglore...


NOw I Need Expertise advice here, is it ok to Raid to Digha with my present Condition of Documents and Bike back mags....

About the documents.........my new bike itself is newly registered number.I think since you are using a second hand bike,its not a big issue unless you chance to be in a mishap due to unsafe riding.Since you are not the legal owner still-you wont be getting any facilities of insurance.

I cannot comment about alloys,
But from my experience I suggest you,how this is happening.
When you ride for long,the air inside your tube gets heated up and expands,the tube radiates the heat to your alloys,which makes it heated up.
Now I dont know about what brand of alloys were used in the previous ZMAs,but as far as I know my bike's alloys are of Enkei...they have this nature,so far I dint came across of any such problems rising out of that.Apart from this just make it sure that you may not use excessive rear brakes.If rear brakes are tight,loosen them up to your comfort zone.You would be ok.
