guys as members of bbsr xbhpians are really eager for this G2G and looking forward for the meet in the month of july as few bbsr xbhpians are have problem if the G2G is in the month of august ,so we really need to finalize the trip soon and for that we need to meet up, so what about a G2G in the first week of july & venue is same i.e., bud stop near DLF building rajarhat So guys what you think about this ?? opinions please

ok then how about 4th of july place is mini bus stop rajarhat near DLF biulding & time is around 4.30 to 5.00 pm or if any one wants then we can do it in morning including a ride also

Coastal Conquest !!!!! Done !!!!

Fellow Xbhpians,Onwheels and myself had the first real and really enjoying and smart on ride G2G of our lives.This ride was full of adventures,various incidents and pratically all situations that enthusiastic bikers have to face........really twisty roads,night time riding,really bad roads,stunt-like riding,high cruise speeds and everything that makes trips memorable on two wheels.
We had done over 500kms on this ride.
Visited all places in and around Digha,
namely......Talsari,Sankarpur,Mandarmoni........we visited each and every place and had spent almost 2-3hours per place discovering enjoying and chilling out.
On day one, we started off from Kolkata at 5.45am,Onwheels had the leading..........and he really woke me up from my biking slumber Maintained constant cruise speed of 95-100kmph from the very beginning after crossing the Vidyasagar Setu. It was easy for me to be on his tail.....but this is not how Onwheels usually rides !!! I thought something was wrong.We stopped at Azad Hind Dhaba in Uluberia for our breakfast,thats where Onwheels told me,he is feeling uncomfortable with this road,he rides with pleasure on NH2,but this road is different.I had to take the lead then.We maintained a speed of around 75-80kmph till Kolaghat.Ok,this maybe a little disagreeable but we had to smoke a Pulsar180.....,this biker was cruising ok,but on seeing Onwheels with all his gears ,suddenly bumped up and passed us really dashing and dodging about !!!We didnt find the rider then over 50kms......but we spotted him again.....time for payment,I was in lead,so a constant speed of 105kmph comfortably on our bikes over a stretch of three long roads,did the trick.The Pulsar was no more seen,not even in our RVMs.
After we hit Kolaghat.......really bad roads started showing,bumpy overall roads,But my bike sat me comfortably as I was hyperdigesting my breakfast Bappa's condition was not too different,kept comfortably following me,but felt the bumps really as he missed the comfort of Volvo rides on this route.Roads winded through built and unbuilt sections.We had to be really cautious and technical.This things continued we finally reached Digha after the Narghat-Nandak road,Contai and Ramnagar.
After reaching Digha,got our lodging,kept our baggage,refreshed ourselves and went out for Talsaari,this is place where West Bengal is into Orissa,its near Jaleshwar.Its at Talsaari we rode the sand beach,the sand here is really water fed and loose,so our riding was no different from Stuntmania events
After Talsaari,we went to have our lunch,basically Veg Thalis.Then we went and relaxed at the beach.At about 3.15pm,we got on our bikes and headed for Sankarpur.We also enjoyed the beach here and its scenic beauty.While heading to Sankarpur we rode side by side with a river,this riding was really awesome!!! and scenic too.Bappa had a peek at the Fishing harbour though he is a Vegetarian
We learnt that Mandarmoni is at some substantial distance from Sankarpur,but we didnt wanted to miss that spot,so even after exiting Sankarpur at 4.30 we headed for Mandarmoni,I was a little apprehensive,but a slight encouragement from Onwheels was all it needed.........and boom,we were at Mandarmoni by 5 o clock.We really chilled out and relaxed at Mandarmoni,with two cups of tea and enjoying the condition of bikes there and the folly displayed by some riders while climbing the sandy elevation to mainland.
Some incidents at Mandarmoni: A Tata Sumo hit a man on a Trekker and ran,the Trekker chased it like anything
Our visit to Mandarmoni coincided with the visit of a Bureaucrat with his convoy.
A road to Mandarmoni,lies between marshy and windy lakes,ride through this narrow road was really awesome and challenging with crosswinds and cows running amok all-over.

We spent a little bit of more time at Mandarmoni,and started from the place a bit late,at around 7.15,it was dark by then.I took lead.......this was the first night ride of my life far from my city and in an unknown place with a new bike and crazy people with no knowledge of low beams and animals running all-around.What to do?? what to do?? Hahaha,with the blessings of almighty,after riding for about 20kms,we caught up with the Bureaucrat's 4 police car strong Convoy,who left the beach minutes before us.What else,I tagged along with the convoy,maintaining a safe distance from the convoy but following its lead.Result is,hassle free we cruised through really dark narrow roads with pitch-black darkness and realy crowded evening bazars of villages without any issues.The convoy cleared the road wherever it went and as we tagged along we enjoyed it.We rode together till Digha,on reaching where,we headed to our hotels.We reached Hotel at 8.15pm.
We refreshed ourselves for the evening and went to sea beach at 9 o clock,totally relaxed.We chilled at sea beach with sea waves washing us and we having our snacks with the moon in the sky.........the place felt ethereal at times....a really wonderful ride and two man G2G.
Next we had our dinner and retired for the night.
Next day we left lodge by 5.30a.m............as we started for Kolkata,started cruising at 45-50kmph.Had a tea break and then as we crossed the Narghat-Nandak bridge,really bad roads with rogue Rocket bus drivers and trucks started.I got separated from On-wheels,waited at Kolaghat for him.He came up gradually.Then we started again and got to the main NH,rode as usual.
But again got separated from Onwheels,He told me,to wait at the Dhaba,but he had started facing some heating issues with his bike and we rode by ourselves for the rest of the return journey.I had my breakfast at Azad Hind Dhaba and headed home.I reached home by 10.30am.

They braved everything thrown in their way.............the rains,its fears,the sand,its tricks,the roads and its peril.They know how to stand by their riders.Kudos to the bikes

This is what is like riding with Xbhp...........some things that fear and money can never influence
If you have a two wheeler and you are with Xbhp........you keep riding.

Kolkata Xbhp,keep rocking............we will always be ready for any conquest anytime.We hit the roads before it hits us back

LOL ......we had to be technical in order not to be questioned by the Police as "mysteriously following the convoy"

Xbhpians......all our trips and endeavours are dedicated to you people so that you all get some high and inspired about riding long and having biking as adventure in your lives.
We all are busy and are into somethings which concerns our career and professions......but we can always afford sometime to ourselves atleast once in a month for a long ride.So please join us in these offline events especially long road trips,its a request to all.
These are not just fun or going gala events with silver screen and recognition all over.......these are responsible events and are experience makers,giving such things a miss is a loss to an invaluable objective...thats "living this life".
Also if everyone loves their own bikes.......then its a request to them too that let the Bikes live and run freely out of these daily city low rides.For the better parts of their lives our beloved rides only gets to drag at traffic signals,cut traffic with pressure on clutch-plates and potholes warming bumps......lets them out of these chains sometimes and let them breathe freely too

We should be very active in promoting biking......and to uphold the image and passion of Bikers.

Come Xbhpians......lets join in on the 4th of July at the DLF bus stand according to everyones convenience and decide the BBSR-Kolkata G2G seriously.
