i really felt very bad yesterday... have seen many accidents before but this was just a handshake distance away from me... don't know who he was, neither did i find any trace of the accident in today's newspaper, yet, may his soul rest in peace.

anyways, nice pic satyajit da, and it's so nice that your wife is a biker lady. i mean my girlfriend is not even interested in long bike trips. once we went to shaktigarh and after we returned, she was like, "PLEASE AAR KAKHONO ETO DURE BIKE-A KORE GHURTE NIYE JEO NA, KHUB BORIG LAGE" (English re-quote, "Please don't take me out again for such long rides and all, i feel so bored" )

Sadly/Fortunately Dont have any GF to complain!

anyway this is something which happened with me yesterday!

There is construction going on in Kolkata for the metro corridor so roads are half occupied by construction companies,and on the extreme left of each side of the road no parking boards have been put up,yesterday while coming home I saw several cars parked in front of the no parking boards,one guy was just parking and was waving his hand showing others to go past him,traffic jam was obvious,i saw some space in front an auto and just stood beside that carwala(45+),here how the conversation goes:

Me:Are you parking you car here?
CW:Yes!
Me:*pointing at the no parking board* Whats written there?
CW:Yes,I know other guys have also parked behind me
Me:If they commit a crime will you do the same?
CW:*uncomfortable* Yes

Everyone around us were watching us

Me: Do you that because of this traffic jam has increased?
CW:Yes I know*as if i care*
Me:That is why our country doesnt progress because of you people *pun intended*
CWS:*shocked* Whaaat!

I zoomed away!

Moral of the story:

Verbally abuse karo,physically nahi!

First Travel Experience !!!

Doc,
Honestly speaking we were desperately looking for a lemon break.
Either myself was unavailable or She was having some office issues.
Add to this parents ill health family obligations et all only postponed our Plan.

Moreover after the accident lot of upgradation were done.
Besides some Riding Gears were also purchased in the last few weeks.
Wanted to have a real taste of these stuffs.

Never been into long rides in my life. So probably this was the best thing to do to rejuvenate ourselves.

Can go through this if interested.

The truth is many a times the language we speak to express ourselves becomes a matter of disgrace to us.......I do not know why, maybe vanity of people around us fail to understand what it meant.

But still, the social gibberish of the multi-cultural nation that we live in is more difficult to understand than any dialect we may speak in.It is because of the lack of understanding.There is absolutely no discipline or understanding on Indian roads.Everyone moves as if they own they the road,absolutely none of them have any feelings for a fellow road user.And they press it on deliberately.

Accidents occurs due to lack of understanding.People around us either underestimate or over react to certain situations which eventually leads to their doom.......leaving a profound impact on us.

I am really fortunate that my parents educated me well enough to be a human so that I can understand the feelings of all fellow road users and people's motives despite their arrogance.The learning English and being able to converse in it more than my mother tongue is an added bonus,and it serves me well.

Well,the bikes do get stuck.

Bappaditya and Myself know it better than most.Though we never got stung by an innocent fish.

Our Bakkhali,Digha and Maithon trips were always perfected on sea-shores and lakesides.

Well,the bikes do get stuck.

Bappaditya and Myself know it better than most.Though we never got stung by an innocent fish.
