Aye, aye, captain! I have already identified the city volunteers and am working towards it.

If I'm not wrong, this should be a group ride & I don't think anyone will ever try crossing 60 Kmph mark during this rides. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Hole you breath, aargee - we did a constant 110 kmph for a good stretch during our return leg. However, as for our forthcoming ride, a constant speed of 75-80 kmph will work out fine. A speed of 60 kmph would look too slow. Anyways, we'll work it out - we can split the gang into two groups, if required.

Point noted. I am recording all the details in a Google spreadsheet.

Whoa!!! sounds exciting now!!! Anything more than 100, my bike can't do I guess. But, I need to wrap up my rebuild ASAP, otherwise I'm not there for this G2G, with a few more weeks to go, I've so much more to buy, so I'll keep my fingers crossed here.

If you split, put me into the 80 Kmph group. Yes, 80 Kmph is decent enough

But I'm looking forward to learn on proper group ride in addition.

@aargee: 60 kmph. Fine with me. AT this speed mileage won't be a problem for anyone.

@Praful: This would be my first long ride with XBHPians. I have joined the Chennai gang for a Breakfast ride sometime back. And that's it. Have done a few solo's trips. Thats all.

@Chennai XBHP: How about having a breakfast ride sometime before the Inter State G2G..? Place - Moongil Kootai, Kalpakkam. or any near by ones.? Do give in your suggestions whether this might be feasible.

                • @cbz_extreme: We will be organizing a couple of Sunday G2Gs. (Probable dates: June 6 and June 13)

Attendance will be mandatory for all those who are coming for this trip. All things related to the trip will be discussed (including meeting points; routes and stops; group riding pointers; riders and their positions; speed limit; et al.).

                    • @Josh, I am planning to send out the form to the participants soon. Once we get the details recorded, we can work on the spreadsheet and make sure the planning is n-sync. And yes, the thread will slowly heat up.

                            • Hotel booked!

                              *BUMP*

Update: We have formally booked the hotel.

This being a 4-city, tri-state G2G, coordinating will be a huge task. Hence the idea of selecting two from each city will help us a lot. And these people will be your city reps. Your city reps will be sharing all the ride plans and other details with you.

The city reps for this trip:
                              • Bangalore: johnblr and prafultripathy
                              • Coimbatore: JOSH5898
                              • Chennai: kirosh_03 and xinfii
                              • Cochin/Trivandrum: kochumvk

In a couple of hours, I will be posting an online form. All confirmed participants need to fill-in the form. The details you provide will be recorded in a spreadsheet. This will help us in letting the hotel guys know the food choices and number of veggies and non-veggies.

In the meanwhile, if you have any questions/concerns, feel free to share them here. We will debate on it.
