      Waiting for the list Kiran. At this moment, I'm so happy to say that I've sourced out almost all the parts. It should be fitted to the bike by June 1st week & I should be joining for the ride. Sri & Saturday did the magic.

              ^^ Yes, the Pollution Under Control certificate. It is mandatory in cities like Delhi. However, I don't know the case in Karnataka and Kerala. It is mandatory in Chennai.

                    Completed the Form. (Not sure of the PUC certificate - anyway my bike only 6 months so it shouldnt be a problem)

                      Gr8 job .I filled it.
                      I did not understand the Idea of lunch and dinner at different rates and different menu.
                      However it doesn't matter just out of curiosity I asked this question.

                        Its not your fault buddy, its the govts. Way back in early 2000's when govt were planning to ban 2 strokes they were strict about the PUC & there were many PUC checking centres in the city & they were making good money. For any new vehicle upto a period of 1 year they didn't require this certificate as the manufacturer themselves provided the green sticker (have got one on my Activa) stating its non polluting vehicle (in what way??? God knows)

                        For all other vehicles it was mandatory to check for every 6 months & obtain a receipt, certificate indicating the microns or micro grams of pollution & a round sticker stating which month it was being checked.

                        As I told before, govt being lazy to implement & adopt to this, they eventually gave up checking this.

                        When I went for paying Green Tax in 2007 for my RX, one of the mandatory certificate to be submitted along with "important" papers was PUC certificate. Hope this long lengthy post was worth enough here

                            I'm interested for this interstate trip and filled out the form.

                            Aargee - My legend would be in garage for some treatment by that time I guess, so have opted to get Unicorn.

                            Guess this would be my first long distance trip with xbhp team and I'm all exited!!!
