Trip to Yercaud

Kirosh - We will need to have a G2G on 30th May.

WHY? Two reasons:

1. Calling the fellow xbhphian for the meet would help spread the details about the bike trip. I'm sure there were many in the past asking for the road trip in this G2G. Thanks Kirosh for giving little insight about the trip planned in June.
Aargee: thanks for the link given in this G2G thread for those who wondered where would I get to know more details on this.

2. As Kirosh said earlier, we should meet and discuss a bit detail on the planned trip. This would not only gives us opportunity to clarify out doubts, but also if there are any better suggestions that would benefit the entire Chennai xbhphians.


I see some planning to go on short trip on Sunday 23rd May (I'm not available). If any senior members should be part of it, would be nice if they are able to guide first timers on group riding. This is my personal suggestion.

Nope; series of travels occuring during that week & next; 28th leaving to TVM, coming back by 30th (not early morning), 2nd to Bangalore, 3rd again to TVM! Whew!!!
The earliest will be this Sunday (cancelled the Bangalore trip) or June 6th.

You guys update me after the meet.

That's a lot of travel.. hope adequate rest taken before trips so that sleep doesn't stare should you drive all the way.. I remember you saying on Sunday(18th May) that even you almost slept seeing me..during our trip lol..

We have the MTV Stuntmania Rockathon happening on May 29 at YMCA Grounds, Royapettah. We can discuss that day about the Sunday G2G. We can have the trip discussions there, if you want. The stuntmania audition will go through the day followed by the rock-show at 6pm.

@Ashwin: Spread the word about the stuntmania audition to the Gutsy Roadies gang. I remember your friend was one of them.

hi guys am in for the ride .... I saw all the posts i feel riding till Gingee is a good idea wr in climbing up the fort in the hot sun is again a bad idea... why dont we go to either thirupathi or else yelagiri

yelagiri-230kms one way

both are hill stations and we will have lot of fun on bends and curves.......

Good one. This would be the first time Im riding in hills. By the way one of my office pals went on for a ride till Yelagiri (but they did night stay). Kinda decent place. Climate wise it was OK, compared to Chennai.

Pore with ideas??? Do you've any idea what that means?

Anyway, there's nothing to pour as its already pouring outside; all you need is to search XBHP to find ideas

Instead of Gingee, try Amirthi Forest which is quite nearer too
