Sorry for OT guys. But just wanted to inform my fellow Xbhpians that no more riding for another 2 months.

My right hand got crushed between the chain sprocket of my dazzy.. Middle finger ripped off. In Hospital for about three days guys.

Really sad. Please take good care and make sure you take good rest for fast recovery.

Whats up with you ? Suddenly into touring every weekend ?
It keeps raining like crazy here in Mumbai.And I don't enjoy riding in the rain.Haven't gone for even one ride yet

It just happens and not sure how long will this continue before my body and my machine gives up

How did you manage that? What were you doing with your hand in the chain sprocket?? I hope that you recover soon.

dude.. what the hell man !! take care da.. you were trying to clean the chain weren't you? it happened to a another friend of mine. is your finger saved? how is your hand? i will pray for you da !! you will be fine..

Important notice about the RE factory visit

Hello to all interested in the RE factory visit,

Friends have just pointed out to me that the 11th of September is a bank holiday in India! I rang today Mr Arun Kaarthic to have confirmation and he confirmed that the factory is indeed shut on the 11th so no more visit!!

My only other option now is for this coming Saturday the 21st, unfortunately... I managed to reorganise my timetable, but realise that this is now too short a notice for most of you. I'm sure though that you will have other opportunities as you live around here...

@ prabhakar: Ouch! tacke care man!!! Hope you get well soon. I hope you get through the trauma of not having to ride the bike for some time. My guess is that you were cleaning the chain, so I'd ask all those with a half chain gaurd to be careful and alert.

I'm in. Errr...where's this lake? How do we get there?

Its a few kilometers after ponneri. Have to take Kolkatta highroad and cross panchetty. There will be a board on the right marked ponneri. The road ends with a bridge(last time i went, that bridge was under construction). Thats pulicat lake. Roads upto ponneri are good after that, they are pretty bad and there is no proper parking space nor a decent hotel.
