Not much in terms of pics as we were missing the usual photographers. However, Vijay and Rajiv did manage to click some nice pics.

Guys,
had an amazing trip to Hogenakal and Mettur. Thanks to Sunny, Rajiv and Sudharshan for making the trip memorable.
Picasa Web Albums - vijay raghvan - Hogenakal Trip Link to picassa.
Breakfast at Vellore.
On route to Mettur dam. Near Thoppu ghat section.
Somewhere near Mettur.
Sunset at Mettur dam. Was well worth the pot hole riddled road.
Sunset pics
At Hogenakal falls. It was a big disappointment but the route and the ghat section made the ride extremely enjoyable.
More on the link. These are the one that are post processed.Last edited by zerotosixty; 01-17-2011, 10:15 AM.

Another weekend well spent! Nice pics 0-60!
We need to ask the Grand Krishna at Vellore for a 'frequent customer' discount! Rajiv and I seem to be having breakfast there very often!
@Rajiv - where are your pics?
@ Zaphod - Buddy, appreciate the effort that you took to ride with us. Trying to keep up with a couple of Ninjas and an R15 on an FZ16 for 700kms takes an equanimity and enthusiasm that is rare today. Bravo!
@ Praveen (xinfii) - Thanks for the help in getting the room arranged at Dharmapuri - a very decent place and very reasonable too.
@ 0-60 - after the blast between Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri on the Ninja, what colour will you be buying??

Sunny,
If i were to pickup a ninja anytime soon it would be a black for sure. I get very impatient when someone fiddles with my R15. I cant tolerate someone doing that on a Ninja. So it will be the subtle black for me. But as for as attention craving is concerned nothing beats the Green.
It would take sometime for me to forget the fortuner exp
. Felt invincible.
But R15 has made quite a dent on my account, havent recovered from it yet. So for now can only dream about Ninja.

If you are bored of this place, you can try this nice restaurant in Palikonda (between Ambur and Vellore, right at the foot of two hills besides the highway). Their Vadai has been consistently crunchy for me.Originally posted by Sunnyside_up! View PostWe need to ask the Grand Krishna at Vellore for a 'frequent customer' discount! . My train of thought was as follows
1.) Oook, What do we have here? 2 Ninjas and an R15. Will try to open full throttle and keep up
2.) ...
3.) Meh. Not happening. Screw it.
4.) ...
5.) Take that, you little TVS 50. I just smoked you with my 14 horses.Baby Tourer
