    I'd strongly recommend the Bahamas!!

That's no fun for me, in my dictionary it is SUICIDE. So I don't know.

"How are"? I'm terribly confused by your questions. What is that you want to know? Why not simply wear out your gears & simply start exploring the places?

I'd strongly suggest, stop asking these questions, get down to Chennai & mingle with people & then you'll know. Can we stop the OT pls?

        • Im super senior in SRM. I assume guys come here to study and be good in life. Nothing to learn from srm for getting used to pubs, bars etc.

Please dont spoil your life. From MP your dad spending so much money and sending you here to study. IIRC SRM college now a days asking too much of money for a seat.

Im not trying to blow sunshine on anyone's A**. But couldnt control myself.

Chennai is the opposite of Bangalore as far as Pubs, bars etc., The government here in TN likes to keep a tight lid on booze. In a way, it's good...

If you enjoy riding and touring, we have quite a few good options. Roads are well maintained and law and order situation is pretty good...

Which ride? Has a destination been finalised? I'm travelling on Monday , so don't want to get pooped on Sunday, so I'm in if its not too far.

Tarun wanted to visit Gingee Fort and do photo shoot on Sunday. I thought would join him as I never been to that place. I guess it is around 300kms round trip.

EDIT: Tarun would post the details of the ride.

The Right turn off before Thindivanam on NH GST road for going to Thiru Annamalai had been blocked as some work is going on for the the railway line by pass...You may have to go through Thindivanam to reach Gingee.

                          • It seems Gingee fort it is..Regarding the time, thought of starting early at 5.30AM for the morning ride. But, realised the fort wont be open that early. Anyone know the time they are open? Or shall we start early, go to Vedanthangal, chat around there and then go to Gingee?

Me, Sunny, Praveen, Zaphod and few others did visit Vedanthangal & Gingee few months back - It was freaking hot! Do carry extra set of water bottles if you plan to trek up the fort!

Shall we plan for Vedanthangal first - chit-chat for awhile and then head to Gingee? Can't go to Gingee before 9 am anyway as per Ananth's post.

That will allow me to join in till Vedanthangal and then split from there back, as I need to be back home by around 11am for another appointment. Please let me know as soon as possible, and I'll plan my ride accordingly. Thanks!
