i've been here for 10 days and seriously miss riding and tomorrow is saturday so was thinking of renting a bike for a day.

Start from - War memorial, Marina beach, ride to Elliots beach, Enter ECR road and Touch Mahabalipuram and back. Short but one of the relatively scenic rides in Singara Chennai (use google maps for your way points).

Try visiting the St. Thomas mount church.
If you have a two stroker, it is an awesome
fun filled hill climb. (knee pads recommended)

If you have more time in ur hands, you can try doing the Chennai - Pondy - Chennai run,
It is total trip time is less than 4hrs, excellent for short trip.
