Please guide me with the best route possible.

1.) Take the NH45.
2.) Take right just before Tindivanam that leads to Thiruvannamalai

NH till Tindivanam. After that 2 lane roads with lots of heavy vehicle movement.
You will most likely be stuck in traffic till Vandalur after which the roads open up.

Afternoons can get really hot, so earlier you reach Gingee, the better.

I usually take, Ambattur-Chennai Bye-Pass-Porur-Guindy-Adyar-Thiruvanmiyur. Well, I'm not making today as one of my main objective was to meet Ananth & he's not making it.
