Ji, until, I was about 14/15, whenever, I used to get injured none of them would get healed so quick. But then, one day our Dr put an injection, not sure if its Tetanus or what, but, after that any injury, however deep, it heals in not more than a week. Week is for a deep injury, like the one I'd 3-4 stitches on head. All other minor injury heals in 2 days that too without touching any ointment. But through the years, these days it takes 3-4 days to heal. I generally use spirit or after shave lotion over the fresh wound

Ananth - These ones are quite unpredictable; quite unfortunate & hope it isn't deep.

Edit: Concerned about vehicle parking there? We parked our GT650R and came back to see it was safe enough.. there is a gaurd on checkpost who can take care of the vehicles too...

Hopefully, the cut is not deep and will heal within 2 - 3 days.

From Ambattur head to Padi 100 ft road - take left after TVS lucas and head straight towards Madhavaram (take the Bridge after the ESSAR bunk) - at the end take right towards manali/thiruvatriyur - take first left after that and head straight - take left again when the hits the shore - head straight and avoid the bridge to ennore - head to nettukuppam (enroute you will find Coramandel cement factory on left and EID parry on right) and just in-case ask for beach ("Kadal" which means sea in tamil) to the locals and head straight to the small checkpost after EB office.

Note: Park your bike in the eyesight of checkpost gaurd for safety concerns - make sure you tip him

between 12 to 15 is when our Metabolic rate changes ,system goes into higher gear and RPM..this accelerates healing...Past 50 to 55 we once again start loosing the RPM and the metabolic rate of system slows down.Spirit, and after shave lotion contain Alcohol which kills germs on contact..so does Gin or Vodka with High levels of alcohol. Most active people have higher Metabolic rate and quicker healing....The mind of course plays a greater role....

The name of the place is thalankuppam. We saw few people with family and some couples as well. I do not think it is un-safe there.

However if you are planning to walk over the pier to reach inside sea, then please drop the idea of taking wife and kids. It is not safe. Algae formation over the rocks make it very difficult to cross, any slip would be into the sea.
But have to mention that the view from there(if you managed to cross it) is something that I have not seen before in my lifetime. Amazing and scary view of having sea below us with clear view of BIG waves originating and moving.

He is quite right. in India, there's very much less exposure to this sport and although there may be emerging talents but no recognition or sponsor for them. Meanwhile, the Mass-Media spends crores of rupees on our beloved cricketers & IPL who make more money on Ads than on the field... sad
