what are the list of mechanical checks, what all should be checked before the ride

do they give such discounts?

I have never Ridden in a Group before. are there any signs or signals that we have to follow during the Ride?
if one way is about 200kms shouldn't we take a small break at say about 100-120kms from starting point? any pointers as to where to decide the resting point?
