If people are registering just for the sake of ride, then please avoid this trend.Originally posted by vishnus View Postgud morning guys......3 new members from kottarakara registered in xbhp yesterday....they would like to join the vagamon G2G with us......

i'm not a senior, but here is my opinion.Originally posted by deville_56 View PostHardcore biking ain't the criteria, safe riding should be the key. Let seniors comment on this.
if the new riders are not let in, whom are they gonna learn safe riding from? new riders always have a hard time joining our group. i too went through this situation once. i'd say let them join. its not everyday such riders get a chance to join a large and organized group like ours. i'm pretty sure its going to change their attitude towards biking. just let them know the things to keep in mind when riding with a group, like basic signaling and keeping the throttle under control.

What if they don't learn and just shows off? Who will take responsibilty of that? A single person screwing up can ruin everything. We have experienced that before.Originally posted by FATAL1TY - X View Posti'm not a senior, but here is my opinion.

I mentioned this trait for registering just for a ride is not good, not letting people in.#RetiredRider

New members are always welcome. But the thing is that these new members will come for the ride and disappear afterwards. So I too strongly discourage this sort of behaviour.Joining xbhp just for the ride alone will only increase the no. of posers in our community.People who do join should do so for our riding etiquette and not at the last moment just for the sake of a ride.It just my opinion!Originally posted by FATAL1TY - X View Posti'm not a senior, but here is my opinion.

come on... like we dont show off when the opportunity presents itself....Originally posted by deville_56 View PostWhat if they don't learn and just shows off? Who will take responsibilty of that? A single person screwing up can ruin everything. We have experienced that before.

anyways, the people who recommends them should know whether they are show offs or not. so dont tell the people who are show offs and let the responsible riders join. i meant, dont just judge people who are not registered in xbhp that they are show offs when they shows an interest in joining a group ride. we might actually learn a thing or two from them. who knows. xbhp is there to promote safe riding, so promote it instead of keeping it within a confined group. there are rules and regulation, tell them to follow it or dont bother joining. i also know that there where a few incidents(crashes etc) involving our group members. we together took responsibility for that, just like that, when riding with a group we must take responsibility for what happens regardless of his/her seniority level. this ride is an experience, let the people who deserve get a little taste of it.

Chillax guys, the new riders are always welcome but the one who introduces them should be aware of their riding habits.Because one irresponsible rider can ruin all the fun.we have so many examples of such riders which they always want to be odd one out by speeding,zig-zagging,stunting etc.Originally posted by deville_56 View PostWhat if they don't learn and just shows off? Some bikers from my locality also requested to join the ride but i avoid them with some silly excuses because i very well know that they are reckless riders who will never follow our riding etiquette and i dont want to spoil the entire spirit. After all we want this ride end to an incident free one
Ride safeA LOST RACE IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN A LOST LIMB
