      I think THE best person to get the cake is ANKIT... after all, he owes us a few cakes, he owes a few treats, and he knows the best bakeries around... ?

          ANKIT is the best person but don't start that now. He has promised us pune people couple of treats and cakes. No need to share them.

          EDIT: He has promised the treats and cakes only to who all treated and caked him.

              Actually I just saw this Thread and was excited if I could have joined...
              But I dont have any riding gear other than a Helmet and a normal windcheater....

                    Where's the Nashik Phata Exactly? Kasarwadi Right?
                    I remember seeing it on The Old Pune Mumbai NH4 couple of times, when I want from Wakdewadi Side.
                    Time confirmed for Pune guys at Nashik Phata is 5am?

                        Yup you are right. There is only one right in the Old Mumbai Pune Highway. Please co-ordinate with Inder and others regarding the final meeting time.

                          The cake could come from Nasik... my friends will be coming by car and leaving around noon. if it is a big cake prior order will have to be placed so lemme know. And somebody please edit the list as I will be riding from Nasik (and NOT from Pune) in the morning leaving around 6 will see you guys there directly.

                          P.S. I am trying to rope in another Nasik member for company. I am posting this from phone so somebody please edit the list.

                          @MG I have a tankbag and I am in Pune till 6 pm today.

                            Thanks man for taking the responsibility but the cake needs to reach by say 10. The reason why I asked about tank bag is because the cake can be carried in that.

                            I'm not sure about the quantity but say a cake slice of the size of a pastry for 40people. How big it should be? And there should be scope that if 50guys come then also there shouldn't be any problem.

                            If you can confirm the size and price then we will see how the price can be shared.

                            I will update the first post.

                              If it comes there by lunch? coz people starting from Nasik at noon will reach only by 1.30 PM. They cant possibly start early as they are having an exam which ends at 1130. If you are planning to take the cake from Pune, it will have to be bought the previous night and thats a lot of time to trust somebody with a cake. BTW.. a 5 pound cake should be alright for our scenario.(250-400 per pound depending upon variety / manufacturer for good cake) I could get it picked up directly from factory on Sunday in the morning (11:30 AM) (i.e. fresh). Or else if you guys from Mumbai/Pune can manage it.. less trouble for me.

                              P.S.: Car is Esteem, so plenty of storage and Pune #9 and Nashik #1 is the same person i.e. Me. Bike changed to RE Thunderbird.
