It's been almost one month since I got myself a blue P-200. I have done about 1,500 kms. till now, and I am loving the whole feel of the machine. Although, I personally feel the Classic had better "pull" as compared to the P-200, but that's just me I guess.
Can't wait for the running in to complete. Will be riding out soon enough!

As far as the first impression is concerned, as compared to the Classic 180, the P-200 feels a lot more sure-footed as far as the whole machine is concerned. Moreover, the posture of the bike is more sportier than the Classic. The P-200 has a front heavy seating position, which I personally don't have any qualms about. As for the looks, I have always preferred the naked, brute looks of the Classic which I will still maintain. But the faux tank scoops of the P-200 looks gorgeous to me! ![]() As far as the ride goes, it definitely is better than the Classic. Going through bad roads or potholes, it feels way better composed than the Classic. But, one thing which I will again mention here is that the Classic had that grunt, that pull right from the word go, which the P-200 is missing; although once passed the 4k RPM, it does seem to pull nicely... I also miss the throaty exhaust note of the Classic 180.The digital instrumentation is something that I am still getting used to. Although I am used to the analogue instrumentation of the Classic, the digital console is something which I just love to gawk at.. All in all, the experience thus far has been fantastic! Rest, after the run-in is complete..

Hi i have a 10 month old 200 which has run some 97xx kms, mine is the 2007 model, and so it's rivets where the exhaust and downpipe meet are slowly coming off, it seems this particular batch of 200's as well as 220's has this strange problem, and added to this i've had a pretty bad crash yesterday leaving my tank scratched and dented badly, therefore i need an estimate on these parts
1. 200 Tank 2. Tank Shroud (do these come in pairs or do they change each seperately) 3. Speedo console Also the insurance tells me that i can claim only upto Rs. 10,000 without an F.I.R. so what do i do if this repairs exceed 10k? Also i intend to claim a replacement exhaust under warranty as my bike has a defective one, but the guys at PBK are telling me that since the bike has met with an accident it has to claimed under insurance, and the exhaust itself costs a whopping Rs. 7,000! how can i make change it under warranty?
