Thumbs up CBZ- Xtreme initial Thoughts

Hey Roadies,

Finally I bought CBZ- Xtreme last month.. Its a cool bike and is really rocking. Great control, good braking makes it a road king. Currently I'm understanding how HE behaves, I'm puttting in some initial thoughts

1. Looks: I think the looks are good, especially the tail light is awesome (the best in any bike).

2. comfort and control- The bike is very comfortable to sit, but I'm not that impressed with the seat they could have made it two piece seat, if you drive for some time you will feel some pressure on your wrists. Any person riding this bike for first time can make it out. Slowly you will get use to it. No vibration at low or high gear.

The pillion seat is v high, you feel as if you are sitting quite higher than other bike riders on the road. It feels good. Also it’s handling and control is awesome. Because of the height of the bike you may find it difficult in handling on twists and turns or on slippery roads or during rain, but as the time goes HE will be more friendly.

3.The gear: Sporty one sided gear I Love it Coz When I learned bike I used my toes only for changing gear. When I got my bike Gear shifting was bit hard as it was not smooth, I went to the showroom and they corrected it now its smooth as ur GF's cheek

3. Mileage/Max Speed: Max Speed 50Km/Hr . I have not checked it yet. I'm waiting for my first service to get over will update soon.

Waiting 4 dat moment...... ... Till den an advise to all CBZ lovers Njoy ur ride safe and live ur ride to the fullest......and ’ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET" Coz we LIVE OFF THE EDGE

Something about stickers-my R15 left fairing sticker was neatly flicked from my bike a few days back!

I dont think you should try that burning idea , its very dangerous .
If I were you and nothing could be done , and The Petrol tank is covered in warranty then I would break the petrol tank itself . But thats crazy me .
Cant the SC guys help in this matter .
Ps : ask the SC about this which you do not take your bike to . So if you wanna implement that break idea , They would not know you purposely did it
Tank deisgn is little different on Xtreme, its not shallow, there is obstruction kind of thing near the filling hole, may its for avoiding something to fall in it, but some how that small peice of cloth fell into it.

And cloth is not floating, I completely emptied the tank, removed it, shaked it ...but no sign of the cloth.

Only option left is Vaccum cleaner..Which i dont have.

YEah, it showed 130kmph on speedo and RPM was hitting 11000. It was very good slope. Side effect was oil-leak from engine head..but was rectified easily by changing the oil seal.

@KAKA

Rather handle grips, invest on good gloves. Trust me. they will help a lot. at 1200/- you will get decent but good DSG gloves.

In case of wrist pain, select the thicker one, and I guess most grips available in market are locally made/un-branded ones. Difficult to say about quality (best is to change them every year)...

i dont think there are any branded unless there are any improted ones. But must be around 25-30 buks. We definetly cant make out quality but..we can jusdge it by the appearance.
