i am using oil of 10w30 grade only, upto what extent worn sprocket and dead battery can affect mileage?
I've removed chain cover and its misplaced now. So, I'd like to go with O ring chain.
Front Sprocket - 14T
Rear Sprocket - 43 T
Chain links 62
please suggest me which chain sprocket set match with this configuration.

Checked today. My bike was doing 98 at 7.5k. Road ran out. [email protected] should be normal. My bike 1.45k on odo.

but my bike is showing aprox 57-60 while my others are showing 50kmph,80 others is 70kmph (i mean 10 % + while tested side by side with different bikes)

and unable to cross 7.8rpm with pillion , before new bore it can do up to 8.5 easily

Since your bike has run 32k your bike will have enough carbon to change the compression ratio significantly, so clean the combustion chamber and also polish the valves. Also re-tune the carb and change spark plug and inspect air filter. If clutch is ok and not slipping then do not touch it.
Regarding front shock, open it completely and replace the oil seals and use Motul fork oil of 160 ml in each fork. Look in DIY thread and paul has nicely explained all the procedure.
For rear shock from your avatar i can see you have a hunk, so yours is GRS SHOCK, so i would advise you to change it with new one.
Gear making noise is because of too much chain tightening which service center are well trained. Almost all SVC know two things tighten the chain too much and tighten the clutch too much. Check chain slack and keep 20 mm of play at tight spot and then report back.

Get a complete service done as i have mentioned above.

It is the sign of tappets slowly getting loose, ride some more and it will become a regular sound which will need the tappets to be adjusted, for now continue with the same. In splendors the rocker is flat shaped and thus doesn't require periodic adjustment, but in extreme it is roller bearings, so as the bearing wears down then the tappets needs to be adjusted regularly, until the rollers completely wear down and requires the rocker arm to be changed.

First of all your sprocket is not the culprit, but something else. First check the clutch play, most mechanics are fond of making the clutch play nil, if it is nil then increase the play so that around 5-10 mm of clutch is free play. I keep 15 mm as clutch play.
If that doesn't solve the problem then check the speedo and compare it with another bike, if faulty then replace the wheel pinion as it is slipping.
Do not go for 15T sprocket as extreme will feel like unicorn, while unicorn has its maximum torque at 5000 rpm, extreme has at 6500 rpm, so your bike will feel sluggish. The best ratio for extreme is 14/42, for that you have to get old model unicorn sprocket(15/42) and not the new unicorn(15/43), then gift the front sprocket to unicorn friendand buy a front sprocket of extreme and fit, it will become 14/42. But sprocket is not faulty, check the above two and i am sure these two are culprits.
And for the speed then mine is digital model, so it matches with GPS, so yours will show slightly more may be by 2-3 kph as yours is analogue.
All speeds are in fifth gear:-
4k rpm- 52 kph
5k rpm- 65 kph
6k rpm- 78 kph
7k rpm- 91 kph
8k rpm- 104 kph
9k rpm- 117 kph and i didn't go beyond it as i had to brake but bike was very slowly pulling.
Yours is new bore, let it run more before testing it, mine bike when was at 5k rpm was struggling to cross 105 kph but now after 10 k it pulls to 117 kph in a jiffy.
So wait for 2000 km then test. Also re-tune the mixture as your bike will be running rich as after setting new bore if we re-tune then after 1000 km it will be rich.

FIRST of all never ever run DC CDI bikes with no battery or low battery, it will have misfires and improper burning of fuel, also chances of cdi getting damaged is very high. A DC CDI bike without battery will return low mileage and excess misfires.
Second a worn sprocket will cause the mileage to decrease by 5-7 kpl, so change with DIAMOND or ROLON.
Third if you have re-tuned after head cleaning then wait for 1000-1500 kms and re-tune as carbon light carbon deposit will help the tuning to get better and also change.

Dear CBZ owners,

I am using Cbz Xtreme and ran 13600 kms when I gave my bike for service the service guy told to change
the chain and rear disc pad and usually I ride between 50-60km speed and I also want to know the cost
of chain and rear disc pad, waiting for replies.

Sibun has mentioned it several times and I once again remind fellow members to check the chain slack regularly(especially after getting the bike serviced).
No harm in having a slightly loose chain. A tight chain with very less slack will damage the counter shaft-bearings, gears, will create grinding noise and difficulty in shifting gears.
Check the slack at various points and it should not be less than 1 and a half inch anywhere.
Keep the chain well lubricated and it should serve you long.

For the past few kms I have been riding the bike at 4500-5500 RPM and those resonant vibrations have reduced considerably.

One member has installed Dazzler o-ring chain in his Hunk without much modifications.
But keep in mind that o-ring chains are not open-end type and need the swingarm to be removed and re-fitted for installation.

2) Does Teflon coating affects the paint of Bike?
SVC guy said that it will dissolve some paint, and when coat worn outs, bike will look uglier.

Clutch play was at half, which I like for town riding.. Today I changed to full play for smooth gear shifting

I always had been tuning my bike for the past few years.. I used to get 50kmpl in city and 56-57 on highway.. But for the past 5-6 months mileage has been drastically reduced to 39-45kmpl.. I even gave to a proper mechanic, also at Svc, still the mileage is the same

Anyway this is how I tune my bike,
Set my idle rpm to 3000
turn to the leanest side(clockwise)
from that point 3 to 3.5 anti-clockwise turns
then changing the idle rpm to 1-1.2k

any wrong on the above method??
