hey sibun sir need your help...
i have completed 32000kms. it will complete 2 years this june. the clutch plate is still as good as new, never changed till nw, and the rest of the bike is as stock as it can gert.

several problems i m facing that the fork oil is leaking, the for a change i noticed that the oil is leaking form the rear shock as well.

the other problem is that when revved to above 6k rpm in any gear and left the exhaust sounds a little miss fire sound.

the third gear and the fifth gear are making noise.... third gear is making higher noise than fifth gear, it is clearly visible when i revv the engine hard, and as soon as i shift to fourth it vanishes. so what could be done to that?

and the what else should i get serviced because it almost 5000kms since i got it serviced.

plz help me ... as i like my bike very much and cant stand it watching in this condition.....

The tank is not dirty as such but I do feel the same effect when I hit reserve. It is a bit (though v v slightly) rough and post filling up the tank, the harshness goes away. What I suspect is some debris trapped in the petcock. The reason being, when I had transported my bike through railway, from Kolkata to Jamshedpur, the railway guys at howrah wrapped a dirty piece of rag lying on the ground on a stick and were about to insert it in the tank when I almost shouted and freaked them out!! Then I took out my own handkerchief and utmost reluctantly, had to sop up whatever amount of fuel was left inside. Post that, according to rules, it was mandatory that I left my lid open so that even slightest amount of vapour does not remain. I suspect, these stupid things have introduced a little dirt in the fuel tank. I don't want to clean the tank as such but want to get rid of the debris if there might be any.

@All: Please take this note as an eye-opener and know what to do before you use the Railways as a medium for your bike transportation.

Bloggingwheels , before cleaning your tank i suggest you change petcock's upper strainer part , it cost something 30rs and it comes with an o ring. Cleaning tank means taking a whole tank off and 5hr procedure . Mine splendor's petcock had so much rust and debris , it made of think was i pouring petrol or soil in tank

There won't be any difference. Debris clog on the bottom of the filter. There are two pipes. When u open u will see one long pipe with full net from its tip to bottom, and there is another pipe inside of it without net, just a pipe inside that outer net pipe. When the fuel is on Main, it went through inner pipe. And when its about to reach to its same level the flow of fuel reduced and hence it goes with bubbles inside tube. And when we accelerate sudden the fuel get reduced in carb float chamber and bikes feels hiccups.
So even if u clean that will not help. You can see when u open to how it works. You can even remove pet cock without draining fuel in a bottle. Keep less fuel when u remove it then turn it right side and remove the pet cock to check if anything clogged.

^^ @Paul: On that one, I am going to do the needful in your presence

@Sibun: In your DIY thread of chain cleaning, you had mentioned how to open the top chain cover of xtreme/hunk without removing the wheel. That might be possible in the xtreme but in Hunk, it just doesn't happen. I have been trying all sorts of techniques to take out the top cover without opening the rear wheel but could not. I removed the left side air filter cover, front sprocket cover and even the lower chain cover. tried a lot of times; consulted with the local ASC mechanic and even he told me that it is not possible without removing the wheel.

@All owners of the Hunk 2012/13 models, can you guys please confirm if you can remove your top chain cover without removing the rear wheel?

Doesn't work for me. I need to remove the rear wheel to get the top chain cover off. And in attempts of removing it without removing the rear wheel, all I've managed to do is scratch the rear alloy.

Kolte666, looks like oil leak from head . Clean that area with diesel and followed by pressure water wash . If oil leaks after this it means head gasket is leaking , change it soon.

Did you get the tappets adjusted or the cover opened ?

Exactly. that is what has happened to me too! Also the place where the clearance between the top cover and the inside bolt (with the swingarm) of the left side shock absorber, >> left some ugly scratches. So today I tried again y keeping a piece of cloth in between the space so that while trying I wouldn't scratch the cover again!

@KOlte666: Just get the head gasket replaced. Costs around 40 Rs. I got mine replaced a few months back and no signs of leakage post that. Mine is only 7k young and the gasket had developed cracks.
