        The Nissin ones from Hero itself are really good, they bite very well. A little pricey though. 1200 odd for the set.

          Yeah Bro but its too costly ,any other like KBX avail in JC road?
          paying 1200 for just 5000Km is not a good idea!!! so thinking to go for cheap so that i can change it during every service.

          One guy from spare parts showroom told that R15 KBX make pads will fit to Hunk rear disk!!
          I don't know whether that will fit or not.

            • Kbx pads can be bought below 300rs , they have better bite , make sure you get asbestos one , they are cheap and better , but its dust is carcinogenic . Pads need bit of time to show their effect

              • Here is the way to decode the Engine number to find out the manufacturing date Of Xtreme.
                Suppose the engine number is XXXXEEYZXYYYYY
                Y is Year of manufacture
                X Is the month of manufacture.(Here the X refers to the one after Z)
                Z is the location of assembly plant.
                XXXXEE is Engine description
                YYYYY is the serial Number.

                Year :
                A = 2010
                B = 2011
                C = 2012
                D = 2013
                E = 2014
                F = 2015
                and so on.

                Month :

                A = JAN
                B = FEB
                C = MAR
                D = APR
                E = MAY
                F = JUN
                G = JUL
                H = AUG
                J = SEP
                K = OCT
                L = NOV
                M = DEC

                Plant codes :
                G=GURGAON
                D=DHARUHERA
                H=HARIDWAR

                MY Xtreme's Engine code read as
                XXXXEEDGBYYYYY(Other characters blanked out due to security reasons) which means that it is manufactured in February 2013.
                G means it was assembled in Gurgaon.

                The other way to check out the exact manufacturing date is from a VIN sticker on the rear number-plate. If one finds this sticker missing/Or a TR sticker stuck on top of this, then the bike is surely from an old stock as the dealer is hiding this VIN sticker from you.

                  Slight OT.

                  Is the code similar for other bikes in the stable too? You know what I'm hinting at!

                                Procedure :

                                STEP 1: Remove the two bolts holding the headlight assembly. These are the bolts you will need to adjust if your headlight beam is facing upwards and downwards. There is a small index mark which helps in maintaining the factory adjustment.

                                STEP 2: Once these bolts are removed,gently lift the headlight assembly's bottom away from the bike then while holding it from the bottom,push it up toward the meter/sky . The headlight assembly's upper portion rests on two mounting and if you have any trouble removing these then the plastic covers just beside the meter can be removed by un-screwing two screws for each cover.
                                It rests on these mountings and has a rubber bushing which prevents the headlight/visor assembly from rattling.

                                STEP 3: Put a clean cloth on the fender/mudguard (To prevent scratches)and allow the headlight assembly to rest on it while you disconnect the connector to the headlamp/blinkers.

                                STEP 4: Locate the winker relay and remove its connector by just pulling it.

                                STEP 5: Strip the ends of the wires of the buzzer and just put in into the connector and re-install the connector to the relay. Reconnect the wiring to the headlight assembly and activate the turn indicator. If there is no sound then just reverse the wires of the buzzer connected to the relay.
                                There is a double sided tape pre-installed to the backside of the buzzer . I stuck the buzzer onto the lower side of the meter assembly,safe from water spray.
