Any carburetor cleaner will work but you will have to disassemble the carburetor to use the cleaner. There is no quick and easy way if you want to get good results.

If you still want to spray cleaner from intake side without opening carburetor then use Motul P1 CARBU CLEAN or else use Cyclo carb cleaner if you plan to open it.
Cyclo contains acetone whereas motul mostly contains toulene. Toluene does not damage rubber o-rings and diaphragm as much as acetone does.

Thanks for your suggestion. So, the effective method is to disassemble the carb and get it cleaned. But what should be done with TPS. Can you mention all the points which should be taken care of while opening/cleaning of carb.

As i read here ,NEVER DISCONNECT TPS FROM CARB, DOING IT WILL CREATE MORE HEADACHE. just use a screw driver to remove connector from tps , we cleaned my friends uni so i bear that thing in mind. Clean diaphragm and slide very carefully , hopefully under supervision of a expert mechanic, we took help of a ex svc head mechanic , take care that you use compressed air to blast through narrow passages , but dont over do it , use lint free cloth , even smallest of lint can cause blockage .

I thought ex-showroom price was always quoted after including the VAT.
why doesnt hero have their exshowroom prices on their website like bajaj and hmsi ? I remember seeing the prices earlier but they are gone now.

*Oops 62,555 is not ex-showroom but factory price without taxes.

Road tax for additional vehicle is not 12% but 14% (9%+5%)

I just purchased the bike from showroom (without any bells and whistles)and got the insurance, temporary and permanent registration myself.

At the time of temporary registration I had to paid life tax. After a few days when I went to apply for permanent number they searched my name and it showed up in their database. As I already own another vehicle,I had to shell-out extra 5% for registering an additional vehicle on my name.

Add to all this,I had to take my bike 8kms from the RTA(malakpet) to nagole just to get a new bike inspected by some inspector.

yes you are correct, it is 14% for additional vehicles under same name (you could have just used your initial or expanded your last name depending on how it was on your earlier vehicles' RC to avoid the extra payment - a friend of mine had done this)

hhaha good, a friend of mine who had purchased a unicorn around 6 months ago was telling me he had to shell out almost 4k just for 'accessories' and it seems the showroom wala told him 'sir this is were we make some profits' and that idiot like most ppl blindly went by the showroom guys quote

I think you already paid that extra 5% as the life tax/road tax.. still wondering if its correct to be charged again 5% at the RTO office. will need to go thru the AP RTO website again on the charges
