@ALL who're wondering about the 'special bike' mentioned by Racoon:
Read Arthur Hailey's "Wheels" and then decide on the humour involved in the statment.
Lemme give you guys a hint..
The above statement is shockingly true (Not sure if the case under discussion is one). And it ain't restricted to Bajaj/Honda/Yamaha/Ford/GM.
Read the book asap and i'll dole out further gyaan

Cheers !

^^I already did !
The statement is true apparently. Makes perfect sense as its explained quite logically in the book.
Stop reading BI and buy the novel for 40 bucks for more details !!

Their are members here with over a 100,000kms on the odo on a freaking pulsar am i right.
Well I have done close to 30000 kms on my CBZ an around 35K on my ZMA and have not sprnd a single rupee extra on any mechanical problems other than the regular spark plug, air/oil filter changes IMO honda engines are some of the most relaible engines available even our old city which was replaced for an optra felt as good as new even after around 7yrs & 80K kms of abuse.

^^The castrol bike zone i go to service mostly premium bikes like ZMA etc.
I went their 4 times they do get lots of unicorns. So i asked the supervisor their which was better uni. or my beloved xtreme. He said both have the same engine but their ARE diff..And he said xtreme is only second to a uni..Another mech. their told me that Honda had filed a case against HH as the xtreme uses the same engine so HH made some changes to the xtreme. How far this is true only gurus here can tell.

Ok motul update-Their is a considerable improvement in the pulling power
after using motul. After the mandatory 2km warmup i change the gears @ 6000 to 6500RPM the RPM needle goes their like a hot knife through butter.I no longer feel like i have a pillion the pulling power has increased .I never observed this with the not-so-synthetic CP1R.If i try to maintain 80Km/hr it goes to 90 without my knowledge and i have to look @ the speedo to realize i am doing 90+.I came across this forum where this amsoil dealer admits that motul is one great oil.I cannot agree more

Good goli. 'Sunne wale hain toh bolne wale kuch bhi bolte hain'. HH is 50% Honda and every bike HH makes is under license from Honda. Honda earns royalty (or what ever it is similar to it) on each bike sold by HH.
