erm...1 or 2 psi after a week... nothing to worry about.... that means you don't have a leak...most of the petrol pumps air fill up is free so not a big deal to check the air pressure once whenever you do a tank up...

cheers

Hi,

I did it & it costs Rs.500 in Pune. What I read in other threads & on Team Bhp & other forum that what they claim as Teflon coating is not exactly the Teflon coating but some sort of Wax or Silicon rub. Also don't be under impression that it will protect the paint & there won't be any scratches even the light ones. Scratches are inevitable. The Teflon Coating from DuPont & 3M are authentic & they do it 3 times & comes with a warranty card but it is costly. What my motorcycle got is probably a silicon rub.
There is no easy way of checking a Teflon coating unless you have Paint Thickness Measuring machine. But one way of checking is
wet the surface on which Teflon has set and check that water beads up on the surface and runs off easily. But it is not foolproof. May be others who have done the Teflon job can share their experience.

Choice is yours.

Perfect Riders, Bangalore fixed the read mudflap free of cost on my Fazer. I think if SVC asks you too pay for it, better check with Yamaha customer care.
