Today my bike developed a brake squeal its the rear brake and starts around 40% braking. The bike is ridden 731 Kms and already a brake squeal
It cant be the liners I am sure its too new for that. And after first service last thursday i rode it only once in slightly wet condition. Any suggestions about what could be causing this?

itz a common thing for a bike to squeal after service . itz due to de water droplets which halt on the brake pads after water wash , as soon as it gets dried up it starts making sound

@ n-o-v-i-c-e : while downshifting the lever just drops but doesn't actually shift down ... you get the feeling as if the lever is disengaged ... it doesn't happen on the upshifts .
@ braveheart : my bike's not even a month old , has done about 450 km , so could the engine oil level be low already , but if it is engine oil , then shouldn't the problem occur while shifting up also ? but it doesn't , it happens only on downshift.People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com

if the gear lever moves full distance and gear doesn't change sometimes.. get it checked at the service center... i don't think ur oil level is low...
if its low gear becomes too hard to shiftKingdom FAR FAR away is where I wanna be...

Can u plz tell me what exactly to use to keep the bike shining? I ve observed few marks on the tank and also the lustre has gone down to some extent... also the plastic panels (speedometer and rear mudguard) appears to be dull as well.. Plz helpSAVE TIME....SEE IT MY WAYComment

Brake Squeal
The brake squeal I mentioned has reduced considerably hope it goes away and today my baby beast smoked a bullet T bird on a straight
. I was riding along on a 60 kmph cruise today quite early it was 6ish i guess and this guy on the T Bird got excited and started revving hard all it required was a small twist of my wirst and the baby beast just took off leaving the T bird behind making a lotta noise. Ohh it was quite funny when his engine started going kung pow with misfires on down shifts Guys from bangalore you ll know this straight its the hosur Rd straight just after adugodi. I am very happy camper right now.
