No,am not sure about it.I would hate Samsung SVC rip apart my phone.Loving NFS Most Wanted..awesome graphics.Originally posted by Mad Mik View PostNice phablet!! I got one too.
Do you know if Samsung repair center are able to replace the mother board with a 64g motherboard? I have a 16g and want to increase the internal memory. I'm also running a 64g micro sd.
My clutch return spring has got broken somehow, discovered it while cleaning the bike. No problems whatsover. SVC worker said its not such an important part and I might ignore replacing it! I plan to change it by this month-end.Can I ride it normally till then? How to understand when the timing chain or tappets needs adjustments?

My S2's screen smashed after falling off the roof of my accomodation at location for work, I was using it as a wifi hotspot.
Took it in to get a price on repairing it and it was under $300 and I also needed the loud speaker replaced too and it was going to cost too much in the end.
Need more internal memory.
I'll root it and send my apps to the SD card.2013 Ducati M795 with a few mods in here http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/superbik...95-owners.html

Had written a mail to Yamaha Motor India last week asking if washing the disc brake with diesel is a authorized practice at SVCs. Got a call today from the SVC asking me to bring the bike over and got everything checked by the head mechanic
He said that they spray diesel on the bike for the purpose of cleaning but they are not supposed to spray on the disc. But this instruction usually gets ignored because the boys who work there are usually on contract and they dont understand the instructions correctly.
Another thing that I learned today is that the chain on the FZ series bikes are without a master link. Its a continuous chain. To remove the chain the swing-arm pivot cover on the left side.
Cheers!!Your pair of feet can tire you... Your pair of wheels can never tire you...

Erm don't have much of an idea about this one. Recommended grade is 10W. I had filled 20W Motul fork oil and unlike stock one's feedback of the road's undulations, with 20W the ride became a bit smooth and soft but the overall feedback has gone down.Originally posted by juniorbiker403 View Postanyone knows about a denser/thicker fork oil so as to stiffen the front a bit?

Unfortunately you have to change the whole speedometer. If the crack isn't big,you can use good-quality transparent tape.Originally posted by santosh.k View PostThe plastic glass thing on my speedometer has a crack. Can that be replaced or will I have to replace the whole speedometer??

thanks for the info.this means moving up the grade, fork becomes soft and so for moving down (5w) it should become harder and also this practice being common in european countries means it shouldn't harm the forks.yamaha must have chosen 10W because of our road conditions, but that 10W provides correct balance between ride and handling in the initial months of the bike and now,as felt by me the oil has diluted,so using a denser oil initially(5W),will provide a hard ride but as the time passes it should behave like 10W. this is my assumption. please correct me wherever i am wrong.Originally posted by shv18 View PostErm don't have much of an idea about this one. @santosh.k-if you like doing d.i.y's,then an option is-search for a perspex sheet, must be easily available in mumbai, cut it into shape and stick it inside the speedo using araldite(best adhesive i know so far).Last edited by juniorbiker403; 01-20-2013, 11:43 AM.

super glue?Originally posted by santosh.k View PostThe plastic glass thing on my speedometer has a crack. Can that be replaced or will I have to replace the whole speedometer??

clear silicone?
(plastic) modeling glue?
Just make sure you apply the bare minimum. Use a toothpick or similarly thin applicator and just touch it (with the adhesive) to the crack only. Don't smear it outside the crack.2013 Ducati M795 with a few mods in here http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/superbik...95-owners.html

Guys, I serviced my bike in the first week of Dec '12, told the mechanic that my front brake pads are not gripping the Disc fully while braking. He opened & re-assembled the pads & greased the necessary components. Thereafter one side of the disc is properly gripped (that is facing the rim) while the other side (i.e, visible to us fully) is still having the same problem. What should be done to rectify it ? Totally fed-up with the SVC noobs.
Attached a picture for you guys to see it.
You can see that the outermost part of the disc is not effectively helping in proper braking.
Also if any one could help me telling the Email-id of Yamaha Back-office.Last edited by Abhisek; 01-20-2013, 06:14 PM.

The best solution is to take the bike to a local mobile shop and get the speedometer screen laminated like a cell phone screen, only screen. It will protect it from water and provide clear view also.Originally posted by santosh.k View PostThe plastic glass thing on my speedometer has a crack.
