      FZ is really getting such a good response in terms of advance bookings or its a rumour and a fake wave created by Yamaha and its dealers.

        its supposed to sell in numbers... with the R15s Yamaha wanted to mark their return to the mainstream... with this bike they plan to sell numbers... and because its a lot cheaper than the R15 and the fact that its looks are as good as or better than all indian made bikes right now, the interest as well as the actual sales will be high...

                  I dont have thier numbers on me.... and off late I am living a touring life.... do you know any people from vasai... they will be able to help... Kini Motors is a famous learning school and sub dealer...

                        Hope to catch up with you sooner rather than later, as for the registration number 16** is concerned my booking ID is 162661 but got confirmation that i would be getting the bikes before diwali (That would be some SAP/ERP number nothing more than that). Person from Yamaha called me to confirm that. I have booked a lava red one any other colour owners please.

                        What about the much concerned pillion seat and where do you guys intend to put the front No plate?

                        Also throw some light on night driving capabilities

                          Wow! Looks like 9 out of 10 people are choosing the color red... And red does look hot on the FZ16.

                          Has anyone here/ anyone you know opted for the color orange for their FZ16?

                          There is a picture of a black FZ16 in the first post on "FZ16 First Impression" thread with a number plate fixed, I'll be fixing mine just as it's fixed on that bike.
                          I don't race, I don't perform stunts, I don't cut across lanes and/ or cut other vehicles, I love to wear my helmet and follow traffic rules/ laws and I prefer safety over surprise... If that is boring and/ or sissy as per you, so be it.

                            I checked out the FZ, no test ride, just sat on it and had a feel. As someone above said, it's too much plastic (rather fiber). It's good for city, but I highly doubt the usefulness on highway, or long distance touring. Fiber tank means no magnetic tank bag, VERY narrow back seat means out go the saddlebag. Somehow I didn't feel at home at all on the bike. It looks huge, no other thought about, but quite frankly, didn't 'click' in my mind.

                            Congrats to all the FZ owners btw, enjoy your steed. Above are just my opinions, not to belittle anything.

                              get my FZ in Sunday & done 100 km

                              mere ko lagta hai meri bike ki kimat Vasool ho gai pata hai kyu ?
                              kyu ki aaj se pehele mere paas Bajaj Caliber & pulser thi per kabhi bhi kisi ne itna notice nahi kiya tha
                              per monday ko jab main office jaa raha tha apni Fz per every redlight per peupal ask me what a price wich company what a milage how is pickup or to or 1st time 2 girls told me the bike is rock


                              Bike is rock man, thoda doubt pickup ko leker per abhi jab tak 1st service nahi hoti jab tak kuch nahi kehe sakte. & delar told me is run in 6okm/hr
                              & first service in 1000km or 30 days. it not problam to me i daliy up down in 90 km so my bike firt service is i think 4th nov.

                                Congrats to the guys who got the FZ... I saw the bike while I was waiting the traffic signal to go green..The bike looks real cool and the rear tyre is huge !!!!!.. Just one question to the owners.. Is the yamaha logo above the tail light back-lit in red ???..
